“Is the best restaurant in Niagara. Amazing food, large portion sizes, clean restaurant, fabulous staff and the best Owners. Bob and Marlene have created an atmosphere that makes everyone feel like they are home and part of their family. Worth the drive to Smithville. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone, there is something for every taste on the menu. Do yourself a favour and treat yourself to an amazing meal at an amazing restaurant.”

“The outside was nondescript as was the inside but the food was wonderful. The inside was neat and clean. Our server was sweet and always had a smile on her face. The meat mania pizza was a hit with our teen. The cheeseburger special was great. I ordered the toasted Super Sub and it was one of the best subs I have EVERY had. ? The sweet (Italian maybe?) sauce was finger licking good. Truly one of the best sandwiches! I'm so glad we stop here! ?”

Tonight (50 days later), I took a slice wrapped in tin foil, out of the freezer. A few minutes in the oven, still freaking amazing. If that isn’t fabulous …”

We honestly cannot say enought about the ambiance, the food, and of course Melanie who we always look forward to seeing. “Inspired by a hungry stomach after 9pm, before walking in I wanted jerk chicken. The macaroni salad is an experience in itself, I’m typically not a big fan but this one is sweet and garlic-y at the same time. The staff member that was working was so personable it felt wrong not to review especially after tasting the food. 🖤🖤”

“The food is still good. I miss the original milkshakes this place had where u ordered one and they come out with a glass and a container almost full. It made u feel like the 45 bucks u were spending went somewhere. But alas, it’s Canada so everything cost too much. Thanks for maintaining this gem.”

“Incredible breakfast- full of colour and flavour. The server is very knowledgeable about the ingredients and so genteel in his service. Many tasty gluten free options. Several baklava options and homemade Turkish delight! We took away homemade potato salad, Turkish Delight and Turkish dalmades (can’t recall their proper name but so good!). Everything made there by Mother, who was so gracious. We feasted for very reasonable rates. Going back!”

“What a great place... The beers & cider are on point, true to German styles! I had the schnitzel sandwich was fantastic... Just the right amount of breading, pork cutlet was nice & tender. Pickled onions & pretzel bun to round it out... Very delicious! They were very accommodating... Changed a menu item for the Mrs so she could have a buffalo chicken wrap. Buffalo sauce would fit right in in Buffalo itself. Freshly dipped chicken tenders, breading was crispy & chicken tender. House cut French fries... The poutine upgrade was worth it, tons of cheese curds & gravy!”
