Downie Street Bakehouse is simply exceptional. I have been enjoying their wonderful sourdough breads since as far back as I can remember, and the quality has never wavered.
Alan the baker extraordinaire and his wife, Barb, are the absolute best—their dedication to their craft is evident in every bite. I still genuinely miss the daily smell I enjoyed when we lived around the corner, on Inverness!
The ultimate endorsement, however, comes from my 9-year-old son, Hunter, who states that their sourdough is the best in the whole world. You can’t argue with that kind of pure conviction!
