“Detroit Blues Cafe is not just a bar- it's an experience! The best lounge in Detroit. Grown folk Thursday's is my night, have to get there early if you want a seat.To walk into a bar and get instantly greeted with a smile and a cocktail that breathes sophistication is a moment that should be savored.I highly recommend this business. The vibe, the atmosphere, the amazing music, excellent food, the ballroom dancing, and the well-dressed men are some of the highlights. The service is at an exceptional level of professionalism from the wait staff, and cooks, to the security team, consistently. The manager, Amber, is my no-nonsense girl, I just love her!The ambience here is always inviting and comfortable. It's always a treat!“

“The New York Strip special on Tuesday is fabulous and a great value! Delroy is working the grill and makes your steak to order. Although I am likely in the minority, I love my steak blue rare and Delroy doesn't disappoint. Overall, the bar has a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere and a wonderful group of people who regularly come to hang out.“

“Have come here a few times since moving to Detroit. It's in a very old mostly abandoned industrial part of the city along the Detroit River, made better by nice new development nearby, adjoining a portion of the beautiful Detroit River Walk, and on a strip near the Atwater Grill with other businesses. Very nostalgic looking business whose interior including bathrooms have certainly seen better days, but made comfortable by the nice wait staff and VERY HOSPITABLE owner who is most always available and a pleasure to chat with. Generally speaking the food here is very good. I'd call this a must visit little foray into old Detroit, where you can get a nice meal and drinks well off the beaten path. I like it.“

“Stopped in on a two person dive bar tour and the place did not disappoint. We shared an app tray and the portion was huge and a bargain. We then shared a burger and epic would be an understatement. Delicious and filling. Drinks were cold and service was spot on. Also purchased a cool T-shirt. Dive bar extraordinaire. A must stop for food and drink.“

“Irish coffee is a great local bar to grab a drink and a solid meal. The staff is always beyond friendly and the drink pours are strong like the Irish. I recommend the hand battered onion rings and chicken philly for a delicious meal. Great go to meet up for drinks and a meal among friends.“

“Had a great experience, woman behind the bar was great, she even came around to the tables when she had time --- food service was great, everyone there, patrons included, made it feel welcoming. I enjoyed having a nice table, space to move and dance, pool tables to play on --- we went for karaoke (with Gerard and Kimmie) and it was very fun! Thank you for a great time, will be returning for karaoke and food!!!!!One suggestion, for non drinkers, other options than fruit juice or pop. I drank water, but wouldve preferred maybe something more interesting.“
“The Jspot had everything we were looking for a safe , close in proximity, good vibe place for a quick night out. Wing Wednesday was just right the wings were flavorful and only$1. The bartender made my drink just off what I told her I liked and it packed a punch. The dj kept good music going and they have two pool tables. It's a cheers vibe were everyone was welcoming and chill. The dance floor is a bit small however I love the mirrors by the dance floor.“

“Very welcoming diner. Staff are friendly and give great service. They convinced me to get their famous clubhouse sandwich. It was so big I couldn’t get my mouth around it. The turkey is real but I found it too dry. The home fried potatoes were delicious and cooked perfectly. Their gravy is an old family recipe which has cinnamon in it.On a second trip there I had a turkey salad sandwich on toasted rye bread. The mayo made the turkey less dry and was made to order with added celery and onions. It was delicious. They also make homemade lentil soup which I will go back to try.“

“Cramdon's, a neighborhood staple that has been around for years. Always consistent. Amazing service. Delicious food, so much to choose from. You can eat light or heavy. Good tap selection of beers, fully serviced bar with great staff. If a game is on, you can guarantee they have it on one or more screens. Did I mention a lot of screens? Outdoor patio in the warm months. Lots of parking, lots of seating. Will be there for another game soon.“

“Great food for GP, which, for a community of wealth, has a dearth of good eateries. Fish and chips I had were nice and not greasy, fries on point. I'm glad that they had Pacific beer, it's a great beer with low alcohol content.Took awhile for the bartender to come around a couple of times, especially for a slow afternoon, so we didn't get to order as soon as would have liked, although maybe he thought we were just engaged in a conversation and didn't want to interrupt.Atmosphere here was kinda tired when they opened awhile back. Now it's exhausted and could really use something, ANYTHING, to make it inviting. I've seen better decoration in a trailer park. That said, I would rather go there for food and friends than anywhere else in the area.“
“Food menu is usually limited. Try the special of the day; usually a burger or a pasta dish. Two pool tables and two dart boards. Friendly staff. Free pool on Sundays and Wednesdays. Colourful regulars. A classic sports bar. Doesn't hurt that Silver's is next door. ?“

“The few times I was a customer, the food was above average. The service was just O.K. Sometimes the check was brought to the booth promptly, and others we waited and needed to ask where the waitperson was as we needed our bill. There have also been errors between what was ordered and what appeared. I have not been in Bogarts when they have been busy so I am unable to comment on service during those times. The prices are decent and the ambiance is good.“

“Tasty wings ?, service was a little slow (not a big deal to me as I wasn't in any kind of rush and don't mind a little wait, just a heads up for my impatient people) and atmosphere is good (what you'd expect when you visit sports bar).“
