“We 4 senior ladies were warmly welcomed and our server, Parth, was excellent - personable, attentive and efficient with wonderful people skills. My poached eggs were perfectly cooked, medium yolk as requested. Delicious coffee too. It was a very positive experience, in no small part due to Parth and his boss. Looking forward to our next visit!!“

“Everytime my boyfriend and I visit, Savanna always gives us the best welcome and gives the best service! We don’t come very regularly but she always remembers us and makes sure to say hi. “Had a breakfast earlier today (Sunday, Sept. 07, 2025) and it was an absolutely amazing experience from the very beginning to the very end. The food was outstanding! The service was excellent! “This place never disappoints. Roger has been the chef here for eons, even before he bought the place. This wonderful old diner has been around since the early 50's.
The fare is simple and honest. Don't expect haute cuisine. What you can expect is great service, good prices and honest working person's food.
I tried the grilled chicken club on rye and could not finish it. Very tasty. My partner had her usual Con Beef Hash with scrambled eggs and rye toast.
The food will always be great here.“

“Great place to enjoy with a friend or solo! Service by Nicole was amazing! Such a delight! The food and drinks are excellent and many options to choose from! The ambiance is perfect, washrooms are clean! Additionally, the ventilation is top-notch, couldn't even smell anything from the cooking! OVERALL A WIN OF AN OUTING AND WOULD DEFINITELY REPEAT IT!“

“Passed by many times, and this is my first time to try. Unexpected good quality of food and cheap price. Don't expect any services but the staffs are very nice.

“We have been to this restaurant for breakfast. The staff are nice, and friendly. The restaurant has a cozy environment with nice outdoor space. It’s good for families and small groups, and definitely recommend to book beforehand. We tried Magnificent Madeline and Sinful Benedict, and both were okay.

“Went to sunset grill twice in a week with my family who flew in from out their home county to visit.
The food is delicous!! They have assorted types of breakfast combinations. I would go for the waffles because it is what I can't make.
The lemonade should come with a side of ice like we asked because it taste darn good extra cold! I also tried freshly squeezed orange juice and yes they were freshly squeezed. Can tell by how it taste.
The sausages are just right, home fries are either super soft or crispy both are good but never know which texture you will get unless requested.
My trick is with home fries is if you go with family don't bother ordsring because there will be so much home fries ordered from your other family members might as well share! The portion of home fries are gigantic!!
Coffee is bottomless and choices of 2%milk or dairy creamer.
Coleslaw needs a lil more zing and time to marinade but other wise a good side dish with the hamburgers.“

“Nice spot on the Danforth if you want a light lunch. There’s a small patio. Cafeteria style. We ordered a BLT and a grilled sandwich - black forest ham and Swiss cheese. They were both tasty but a little on the expensive side for simple sandwiches. The food was good so we’ll visit again and definitely recommend to others.“

“After a surprisingly difficult morning, Wlgin Mills Sunset staff made our day. Despite being completely packed, we weee seared quickly. Friendly smiling staff weee hustling. “The food here is consistently good. However, I’ve noticed that the quantity of side dishes, like home fries, tends to vary depending on the time of day. If you visit in the morning, you’ll get decent service and a good portion size, but after lunch, the side portions are noticeably smaller. The level of service can also vary depending on which staff member is serving that day.“

“Went to bakery, not the restaurant. Bagels are always good but everything is very crammed. They don't label their breads so it's a guessing game. It was busy when we were there and there is only one check out. None of this is the staff's fault.“
