“Went to bakery, not the restaurant. Bagels are always good but everything is very crammed. They don't label their breads so it's a guessing game. It was busy when we were there and there is only one check out. None of this is the staff's fault.“

“I have been to so many locations of pur and simple and this one is by far the best. Marcy was my server and she is just the warmest and loveliest woman I have met in years. “Never thought to pay a visit here but was looking for a local greasy spoon to support - came here for breakfast and noticed that a lot of line men and construction crew come here so you know you’re in for some good value and decent food. I was shocked to know that I was able to order wings so early in the morning but decided to be that person and try something new while sharing a breakfast platter. Food was fresh, made to order and service was fast and friendly. Happy to know that they are open on the weekends so there’s more opportunities for me to swing on by to support a small local business“

“The owner/chef used to be the head chef at a fine Italian restaurant so all the dishes are good and some are exceptional - like most of the soups from the soup of the day and the breakfast dishes.“

“I came here for breakfast on a Friday and didn't have a reservation. They have coffee and my cappuccino was great. The food was decent. I ordered an extra egg, but still didn't feel like it was enough. The avocado was only half of one. The bread was very good. I recommend this place for the atmosphere. It is a great place to enjoy a breakfast out.“

“We had an amazing experience at Eggstatic Waterloo last weekend as it’s newly open! The food was absolutely delicious even every dish was bursting with flavor. We ordered the Eggstatic Steak & Eggs, Eggstatic Tomato Jacket, Classic Middle Eastern Breakfast with Hummus Foul Bowl, Blueberry Pancakes, and Belgian Waffle. Everything was perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, offering great recommendations that we truly enjoyed. “Visited twice during my stay in the area. I tried one of their breakfast plates, and then the chocolate chip pancakes - both meals were tasty, freshly made to order and fairly big portions, I was very full and satisfied both times!
I also had nice coffee and tea there.
At the time of both my visits the place was super busy, but the atmosphere was nice and the staff was attentive, friendly and welcoming.

“The Service was great but I will never order the pancakes from them again, I was undercooked and dorothy on the inside. I told our waitress and they brought me a new one and It's same thing, either they don't communicate with the kitchen or the people who cook the pancakes just don't care. Eventhough the waitress has rectify the issue and asked me if I want to order something else but everyone already finished eating so end up didn't get to eat.“

They were both tasty but a little on the expensive side for simple sandwiches. The food was good so we’ll visit again and definitely recommend to others.“
