“Aroma is one of those unique cafes which tries to embody the full European cafe experience. And, while this can be difficult in a non-European location, they do a pretty good job!!
On the day that my guests and I visited this location, a bus of tourists from Spain made sure they stopped and enjoyed a cup of their favourite beverage.
The food offerings are fresh and tasty. And, the staff are friendly, despite the language barriers they were working through with the visiting Spaniards.
It is for this reason that we usually make the effort to stop from our shopping experience and enjoy the atmosphere of this location. Keep up the great work!!“

“We had dinner last night-the dinner for 2 special feature. We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. We had a wonderful time. The food and service was amazing!!! Our 2 servers were awesome!! We will definitely come back again!!! The decor was just ok Please consider changing the spa music to jazz or classical music. The spa music was not appropriate for a dining room experience.“

One of the staff at Caffe Gatti said she would deliver it personally as I was worried about the condition if it went through a delivery service. “This is simply some of the best gelato available anywhere. Carlotta has developed a painstakingly detailed process to make gelato that is rich, creamy, tasty, and simply delectable. There are many unique flavors and all of the staples, with products sourced from around the world to meal great gelato. eg. the Alphonso Mango flavor is derived from mangoes imported from Mumbai, India! Skip any of the other gelato and ice cream in NOTL and go to one of Carlotta's two locations! You will not be disappointed.“

“Easily the best and cheapest food in Welland. Friendly staff, both the servers and kitchen. Wednesday definitely the best day to go because it's not super busy like the weekends. You can get a turkey club at 7am and bacon and eggs at 1pm, it's great. Highly recommend, lots of parking too!

Vegetarian options: Veggie omelette is pretty good. And the rancharo is also pretty good.

Kid-friendliness: Don't have a kids menu, but they charge less if you get 1 pancake instead of 3.

Parking: 2 full parking lots.

“This cafe has rustic charm with friendly and knowledgeable staff. For a Tuesday early lunch, there was a decent sized crowd so it is wise to make a reservation. Food was fresh, hot and tasty. Some seasoning tweaks needed to elevate flavour. Kudos for serving hand cut fries opposed to frozen. Steak sandwich was tender, pickerel was flaky and mild in taste, buttermilk chicken sandwich was moist and juicy. Definitely worth a visit. When in this area this would be our choice.“

“Actual Dippin Dots location, and not just pre-prepared packages. The fresh ones always taste so much better. Quick and excellent service. I forgot my change and they ran after me to give it back to me! Not cheap, but Dippin Dots never are anywhere.“

I am quite picky with my coffee choices, and this place fits the bill. Not many places have good coffee beans, I've been to many. Most of the places are too sour or too bitter, This place was great. They have the lavazza super crema, which is a premium coffee and not many places use that since it's expensive. I enjoy that coffee bean quite a bit, so that was a plus for me personally.
The owner is a great guy and loves to engage with his customers.
Ps: they love their tennis, so going there when a grandslam tournament is going on will be even better, haha.“
