“We were there late morning on a Tuesday. The waitress Sharon was very friendly. We started with the coffee. It was very good and I don’t normally drink coffee. It was a cold day in December though. Needed something to warm me up. I got their 10yr anniversary skillet. Highly recommend it. It has scrambled eggs, spicy Italian sausage, potatoes, green peppers and mozzarella cheese melted over the top. DELICIOUS! My wife had the #3 which is scrambled eggs, home fries and choice of meat (she chose turkey sausage) with Texas toast. She said it hit the spot. Definitely going back again.“

It’s the kind of spot that makes you want to stay a little longer, whether you’re grabbing a coffee, catching some live entertainment, or just soaking in the vibe. Even though they’re brand new, the team operates like they’ve been doing this for years — friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. “I've been to this location twice and despite the hustle and bustle of the cafe (hey, it's Elmwood and Bryant with brunch hours, the wait is gonna be a tad long), the staff are professional and get the job done. I've enjoyed what they did with the space, making the seating cozy and fun but also accessible (or at least as accessible as the location can be with maximizing seating). I'm looking forward to visiting throughout the seasons for a good brunch spot.“

“First time here. Shout out to the staff. The staff was extremely Friendly. 😁 I appreciate that. The iced drink 🧋we ordered was good. I ordered a house coffee ☕️and it was cold. The bagel sandwich was not so tasty, although the bagel was fresh. The avocado toast didn’t have much flavor. :( but it was presented very nicely. Overall it was ok, a bit pricey $$ too. “Best coffeeshop on Hertel I’ve tried and the employees aren’t snobs when you ask to customize your order. Fresh baked bagels in-house and various cream cheese flavors. They also cater to vegetarians if you need those options. Overall glad I stopped and checked this place out. Will come visit again and highly recommend!!!“

“I have been ordering E-Cafe for years. The food is always consistent and delicious and the staff is amazing. I always order the same thing (chicken melt with pepper/onions and a side of mac salad). Earlier this week I placed an Uber eats order but the delivery driver stole my lunch and didn't deliver the food. E-Cafe found out about the incident remade my meal and delivered it themselves. I really appreciate that they went out of their way help me out! They get a 1000000/10 from me.“

“I came for the matcha on tap and was not disappointed. As a tea drinker there are not many places to find a good matcha. I purchased the iced pistachio matcha and it was amazing. Their summer bun with homemade plum jam was also very tasty. If you are a vegan, there are plenty of options. I will definitely be coming back at least once a week. The staff was very personable.“

“The raspberry chip latte with oat milk was amazing. Sometimes people don’t do oat milk the best but this was fabulous. I had the veggie quiche, spinach, pepper, caramelized onion and Navarro cheese. Paired with the mixed greens of arugula, spinach and tomato slice and a dash of balsamic and oil was really great. I wouldn’t say it was the perfectly made quiche but it was amazingly good!! “My best friend and I had the privilege of meeting these two wonderful women in Toronto after a concert. We had no cell service to call a taxi to bring us back to our Air BNB and kept getting wrong directions from everyone. We had stopped them to ask if they knew where to pick up a taxi, and instead of giving us the run around, like everyone else, they gave us a ride to our Air Bnb an hour out of their way with no hesitation. And for that they will always have 2 new customers for life, and anytime anyone we know goes to Buffalo we will recommend they visit their establishment.
