“My best friend and I had the privilege of meeting these two wonderful women in Toronto after a concert. We had no cell service to call a taxi to bring us back to our Air BNB and kept getting wrong directions from everyone. We had stopped them to ask if they knew where to pick up a taxi, and instead of giving us the run around, like everyone else, they gave us a ride to our Air Bnb an hour out of their way with no hesitation. And for that they will always have 2 new customers for life, and anytime anyone we know goes to Buffalo we will recommend they visit their establishment. We couldn’t have been more grateful for them, their character alone tells me what kind of business they run! Please everyone tell a friend to tell a friend about their business. “The food is SO close to the flavours from home. Special shout out to the aam bhorta, fuchka and egg sandwhiches. They even carry shell and core style icecream. The owner is super friendly and custimizes your food to your taste. Staff was super friendly and you can tell by the regular visitors that he is well known in the area!“

“I think Golden Lion is a great cafe for finding your favourite latte. Instead of providing standard different sizing and a ton of customization, Golden Lion keeps it simple and reliable with single size lattes that are carefully poured and measured. They make a lot of syrup in-house (which I love as someone with allergies) and have unique seasonal flavours, like the brown sugar coconut latte that I ordered (and loved!). The cafe seems to be more Italian style, offering affogatos and having a classy industrial vibe. The owner is very nice and I’ll definitely be returning.“

“We were there late morning on a Tuesday. The waitress Sharon was very friendly. We started with the coffee. It was very good and I don’t normally drink coffee. It was a cold day in December though. Needed something to warm me up. I got their 10yr anniversary skillet. Highly recommend it. It has scrambled eggs, spicy Italian sausage, potatoes, green peppers and mozzarella cheese melted over the top. DELICIOUS! My wife had the #3 which is scrambled eggs, home fries and choice of meat (she chose turkey sausage) with Texas toast. She said it hit the spot. Definitely going back again.“

“Good People-You need to check out Amy's Place. Had a little snafu with my last lentilberry sandwich. I withdraw that review. Amy's was going through some changes at that time. Amy's Place is fully redeemed. The full Lentilberry Sandwich is back and better than ever!! Lentilberries cooked perfectly. It needs no meat. Perfect meal by itself. Chocolate Crossiant was melt in your mouth delicious with a perfectly crisp outer shell. Many vegan options on the menu. Hours on a Saturday are 8am-8:30pm. Unsure of other days. Can call ahead. Number listed is 716-832-6666. The restaurant has a bohemian vibe that takes you back to better days. Staff have excellent people and listening skills. The donuts and some other foods on the menu are kinda mediocre, but other than that everything tastes great. I’m not sure why this place doesn’t have a higher rating. I think a lot of the bad reviews for this place are just written by people who have nothing better to do than pick out and critique the tiniest things to complain about.I saw one review that said, “They don’t even ask if you want a receipt!” Okay Karen, how about YOU just ask for one of it bothers you so much?Good work from the employees. :)“

They provided a great suggestion and my drink was really good! They were both super accommodating and what one wants when they encounter customer service. I really appreciated the experience. “Just went here yesterday morning; lady there who took my order was really nice! Very cooperative! I give it 4 stars because of various reasons. They did not have a kiosk option to order so therefore, I had to sit down and look on the app of what I wanted for my breakfast. I then get my order which was a bacon, egg & cheese on a croissant with extra bacon, a chocolate frosted donut, and a large iced french vanilla coffee with extra cream, and extra liquid cane sugar. My croissant kinda looked charred on the outside and I am not too sure if they even added the extra bacon. However, my food was still good and I will likely come here again!“

“Friendly staff!
We usually get the vegan ice cream we have for sometime recently just went and had it noticed it was not the same it tasted different leaving a weird aftertaste. The staff were polite about it and apologized hopefully it goes back to how it use to be.“

“Went to Timmy ho's as it us called to get coffee. Let me tell you this is the best coffee on this side of the Mississippi. I would advise everyone to go here. They gave recently cut the senior and police discounts which is a bummer. It's still an awesome place. People that work here are great they work to get you what you want.“

“The raspberry chip latte with oat milk was amazing. Sometimes people don’t do oat milk the best but this was fabulous. I had the veggie quiche, spinach, pepper, caramelized onion and Navarro cheese. Paired with the mixed greens of arugula, spinach and tomato slice and a dash of balsamic and oil was really great. I wouldn’t say it was the perfectly made quiche but it was amazingly good!!
