“To the few people in these reviews that complain about the students being in the pizza pizza I find that unbelievable. I myself am a regular and I am a student at Thorold high. During the rush they’ve always gotten my order right even while the line is packed and noisy. The pizzas always warm the drinks never flat and the service is almost instant. Please remember we are students and although some of us can be disrespectful that doesn’t define the store itself. It’s overall clean and I’ve seen the owner many times clean up once all the students leave for class. He does this usually with help and it’s admirable how efficient they are. The staff there is always kind to us and they correct our behaviour when necessary. Even I myself have been corrected a few times for my mistakes they don’t just allow disrespect and they do care for the other customers. At the end of the day some of us are kids that don’t have cars and sometimes want a warm place to sit even though it’s packed. We want to enjoy ourselves just as much as you do and most of us will gladly move if asked. To take pictures of the students and post it online is a violation to our privacy and more immature then some of us sitting on a table.. at the end of the day the facility itself is clean, the food is served well and carefully, and when they make mistakes they apologize and correct it. The staff is kind and respectful. Overall I enjoy this place and it’s held a lot of memories with me and my friends. Don’t discredit it because a few teenagers “ruined” your pizza pizza experience.“

“got a strawberry shortcake for my mother at red ganache, they were amazing to deal with but the biggest compliment... we all fought over a second peice!!!!! absolutely the best cake I've ever purchased. the whipped cream is crazy good and not too sweet, just perfect !! We enjoyed 1) the gobbler: a vegan spin on a thanksgiving sandwich with gravy for dipping and 2) the halloumi hot honey sandwich: a vegan hot grilled halloumi cheese with pesto and tofu bacon jam with greens. Both of our dishes were excellent for taste, texture, and presentation. Thank you Heather for hosting us and answering all our menu questions. So many choices and styles of dishes here at Rise Above. “Best place ive ever been for everything. We went here twice on our honeymoon. First time we hade a male waiter and was super fun and attentive to our table and accomadated to our needs. “I cannot tell you how much I love this restaurant. We always have a great time and the staff is INCREDIBLE!!! My sister and I go for Tapas Thursday when she’s in town and it is always wonderful. We call Johnny Rocco’s “ Our place”. Last night we went with my parent and brother in law. It was my parents first time going. They loved it! The food was delicious and our server, Mary was THE BEST! Also, the gentleman singing last night was really good! If you are looking for great food, great service and great prices look no further. I cannot recommend Tapas Thursday enough. “ABSOLUTE ROCK STARS! Recently purchased some meat to make my first batch of sausage with. Nick went above and beyond and educated me on the different cuts of meats, what percentages to use and tips and tricks and made sure I got the best of the best. When I picked up everything Joe treated me like family and was very helpful and friendly and also gave me some more education. It's awesome to see two people take so much pride and passion in what they do and treating customers like family. Also, on my way into the store I stopped by the bakery department (like the elf I am LOL) and spoke with the bakery person who was amazing (sorry, didnt get her name, older lady with glasses-very friendly). She educated me on ALL of the sweets and baked goods, how much pride/passion they take in their in house baking goods and also the specialty items from Germany and Italy etc. WOW! “Was feeling hungry and the pictures out front just pulled me into this place. The atmosphere was absolutely fantastic with a warm and welcoming greeting from the staff. They had so much to choose from. It was hard to decide. We started with some protein shakes and left with some frozen meals for another day.
Do you have an option where you can pre-order things online. Their prefab meals keep well for three days in the fridge.
My wife was very happy with the gluten free meals. The vegan options all sound absolutely fantastic. Also, They have many different shakes smoothies and protein drinks available. I'm happy this place opened in town. It is the clealist most wholesome meal.I found from a takeout place in quite some time. This will definitely be my go to spot. Looks comfortable for dining in.

Perfect pizza & the wings were as amazing as I remembered 😋 I ordered super saucy and I got super saucy….AND we got 9 wings for each lb, I guess because they were a bit smaller than usual they increased the quantity to still give us a lb….I love this! “I called Pizza Pizza and the gentleman on the phone couldn't have been any nicer, I ordered the XX Large when I went to pick it up there was a customer before me as soon as they left there was an employee right there to serve me. My Pizza was ready the employee brought it to the counter I had already paid for it, the Gentleman opened the box to show me, it looked absolutely delicious, went home we devoured the Pizza! Good service, good Pizza, Good price! What more could you ask for! The only thing is That I didn't take a picture, sorry!

The sauce shouldn't overpower the cheese and vice versa, the crust-to-sauce ratio should be even, and the choice of toppings should work fine together. It's not very often for someone to refuse a good slice of pizza, especially if it fits the general criteria.?“
