“A real hidden gem we found tonight. Wonderful people, wonderful ambience and wonderful food. We arrived later and sat at the bar. After looking over the menu we spoke to the bar staff and one of the partners Dan. After asking if the chef could be a little flexible and make a spicy tomato vegetable pasta. The chef did not disappoint. What he brought out for us was Stella! We also had the spinach focaccia which was amazing. We will definitely be back next time we are in Niagara. Do yourself a favour, pay them a visit!“

“Best place ive ever been for everything. We went here twice on our honeymoon. First time we hade a male waiter and was super fun and attentive to our table and accomadated to our needs. Awesome work! Second time we had a female waitress and same thing. Awesome team and great and friendly staff. “something wrong on the apps order of a large pizza, all topping are gone, we just received a basic cheese pizza. Store then free provided another large pizza with all toppings we have requested. We also got good experience on the customer service.“

“We found this restaurant when we were looking for Mediterranean options in the area. We were glad that there was a buffet available. It was not too crowded for an early Friday dinner when we reached but it started getting busier gradually. The best thing was that they served a lot of items that were made to order but those were included in the buffet. The buffet spread was just right… not over the top, nor too lean. Overall, a good find for a reasonable price. Hospitality was great!“

“ABSOLUTE ROCK STARS! Recently purchased some meat to make my first batch of sausage with. Nick went above and beyond and educated me on the different cuts of meats, what percentages to use and tips and tricks and made sure I got the best of the best. When I picked up everything Joe treated me like family and was very helpful and friendly and also gave me some more education. It's awesome to see two people take so much pride and passion in what they do and treating customers like family. Also, on my way into the store I stopped by the bakery department (like the elf I am LOL) and spoke with the bakery person who was amazing (sorry, didnt get her name, older lady with glasses-very friendly). She educated me on ALL of the sweets and baked goods, how much pride/passion they take in their in house baking goods and also the specialty items from Germany and Italy etc. WOW! Thanks to these three ROCKSTARS you have gained a customer for life (I live in Wainfleet but WORTH the drive!!) Thank you Commisso's for having amazing passionate staff!“

I casually mentioned soup sounded good and the owner, Laurie, recommended a dehydrated soup mix by a local company, Funky Funghi. I bought two options and returned to my campsite to cook in my instapot. WOW SO VERY GOOD! I highly recommend!“
