“I can't believe what I'm reading on some of these reviews and think it must be a Buffalo problem. Blaine, Joella and all the folks in the Tempe location are first rate. They treat me right every time I come in, and the hot dogs are the best anywhere. Love the rings. My daughter loves the shakes. And even the fountain drinks are spot on with carbonation, which these days is saying something. Big hat tip to Tempe Ted's.“
“Came here for a birthday party! The banquet room was a nice size with a nice setup. The waitress came around many times to make sure everyone received what they wanted to drink! It was a banquet style lunch & they made sure to refill the food that was running out quickly. As for the actual restaurant part I cannot comment on.“
“I had never gone here before, but I had a house full of people on Sunday during the Bills game and no plan for food. We wanted Greek food, and most Greek restaurants are closed on Sunday- so we happened by this option simply because they were open, and I sure am glad we did! I still haven't stopped talking about it! We got the souvlaki family meal deal and we were SO IMPRESSED. I called to order it and they said it would be ready in 20 minutes! A full dinner for 6 (in our case, it fed 6 adults AND 2 children) in 20 minutes for less than $80?? I was a bit skeptical, but as soon as I picked it up, I could smell that we were in for a treat! The food was delicious! Fresh, flavourful, clearly homemade. We enjoyed the Greek dressing and tzatziki, the potatoes, as well as the tender, well seasoned meats for the salad. The rice pudding was perfect. We will absolutely be doing this again, we plan to add it to our regular rotation for family get togethers. Thank you!“
“Enjoyed afternoon lunch recently with a friend. We both had the lunch trio special - soup, salad and small plate. The amount was perfect and filled me up. Loved Mama's Sicilian chicken soup -- the pasta was tender and broth very flavorful. The parmesan cheese salad was delicious and the meatballs work ricotta cheese and marinara sauce was fresh and savory. The service was great from greeting to good bye. I used the online waitlist to be sure if having a spot saved. The atmosphere was quiet, soft music playing, others ladies who lunch nearby. Very good value for the lunch experience. Also, I'm pretty sure their cows aren't as happy as they claim to be. So, whenever I go home for a visit, PJ Cools is my first and final stop.This custard is rich, sweet, and silky on your tongue. The texture is similar to softened butter--it melts slowly in your mouth. One cone comes complete with a thousand pleasant memories. What's more, the interior of this place is an explosion of kitsch: old-fashioned cartoons and advertisements line the walls.If you live anywhere near this magic little shack, don't take it for granted. “I stopped in for lunch with my daughter for the first time. The two ladies that were working were outgoing and welcoming, with fun personalities. You can tell the customers love them by how they react when they come in. It was fun to just watch them interact. The food was good. I had the reuben and it came on huge slices of bread with delicious fries. My daughter had loaded tots and said they were delicious, as well. The restaurant was clean and the bathroom was too. We only wish this little gem was closer to home for us. We will be back again when in the area.“

I do this myself at home but have never been out to a restaurant that does it! Means as the ice cubes melt the coffee doesn't get diluted with water, because the ice cubes are just more coffee! My kids both have food allergies, and we wanted something special that they could both eat to celebrate our daughter’s birthday.
