“Dao is great for hibachi in Buffalo! It's my go to place for a hibachi dinner. They serve you so much food, you will take leftovers home for sure. With a hibachi dinner you get miso soup, salad, rice AND noodle, vegetables and a choice of meat. Usually I order the chicken. Everything is always delicious. The cooks at the hibachi grill are entertaining and serve your food quickly. The prices are also great for all of the food you get. It's always a great time!“

No weird yellow dye fried rice here, it's all very fresh.There is also a small discount for cash orders so I always stop at the ATM before picking up my order. We were the first couple to dine this particular Saturday afternoon and had the bar to ourselves. The service was outstanding. The cook went out of his way to make a couple of non-menu items such a really great garlic bread. Overall I would rate the entire dining experience at a solid A.“

I'm sorry to report: "soft-serve" in the Golden State is a poor excuse for the real thing. It's got no structure--your tongue cuts right through it in about three licks. Also, I'm pretty sure their cows aren't as happy as they claim to be. So, whenever I go home for a visit, PJ Cools is my first and final stop.This custard is rich, sweet, and silky on your tongue. The texture is similar to softened butter--it melts slowly in your mouth. One cone comes complete with a thousand pleasant memories. What's more, the interior of this place is an explosion of kitsch: old-fashioned cartoons and advertisements line the walls.If you live anywhere near this magic little shack, don't take it for granted. Grab the wife, the kids, your Mom, your Grandma and whoever else you can think of, load them in the car and get there before another second slips by.“
