“We visited Buffalo for Solar Eclipse and new to the town. We checked on Yelp and found this amazing restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food at this restaurant. The prices are very reasonable, and the portions are generous. There's a wide variety of Japanese and Thai dishes to choose from, and both the fried rice and noodles are exceptionally tasty. We also appreciated the added bonus of receiving two free egg rolls for checking in on Yelp. It's no wonder this place has nearly a thousand reviews--it's definitely the best Asian restaurant in town. Highly recommended!“

The staff was friendly and patient with our endless questions and great at suggesting and helping us pick our entrees. The wait for the food was a bit longer than we would have liked, but the food was worth the wait. They served genours portions.If you enjoy spicy food, make sure to ask for Thai spicy pr ask for chili oil on the side because my extra hot was barely a 1.5 (on a scale of 1-5)Food ordered: pad see ew, pad thai, Basil fried rice and a few rolls.Takout: I ordered less than 30 minutes before closing. I was quite surprised they took my order, as many places close their kitchen 30 minutes before closing. The portions were once again quite generous. “I've been wanting to go to this restaurant that's pretty much in my neighborhood for a while and ended up going on Easter Sunday of all days... I had a hard time deciding on one item to order and I ordered it medium which was a little bit too spicy for me. Next time I would order mild that still has a little spice to it. We both were very happy with our meal and will be coming back and making this a regular spot for ourselves! The food was very flavorful and the server was superb. Our hats off to the chef!“
“Phenomenal poke bowl! Love that you can customize and be as traditional or wild as you want to be. Incredibly fresh and flavorful! Tons of options and a great place to eat the rainbow. The 3 protein bowls are huge and so reasonably priced. Husband got a poke burrito and the Mexican Roll - everything absolutely delicious! Impeccably clean inside and the owners are super sweet and even gave us a little tea mug as a thanks for our order! Will definitely be a regular customer!“

I can't go more than a week, sometimes a few days without craving the Tiger Roll. Anytime I get sushi from anywhere else, I'm immediately upset that it's not Ichiban because nothing else compares! “Dao is great for hibachi in Buffalo! It's my go to place for a hibachi dinner. They serve you so much food, you will take leftovers home for sure. With a hibachi dinner you get miso soup, salad, rice AND noodle, vegetables and a choice of meat. Usually I order the chicken. Everything is always delicious. The cooks at the hibachi grill are entertaining and serve your food quickly. The prices are also great for all of the food you get. It's always a great time!“

“Ordered from here for the first time on Uber Eats. Didnt know what to expect but i definitely was not disappointed. Got the Chicken Hibachi with Salmon as an extra. The salmon tasted great and everything was packed nicely, no leaks. Also ordered the Philadelphia roll and the Asparagus Salmon Roll as im not a fan of avocado. Both were delicious!! Would definitely order here again!“
“Delicious food, adorable robots, what more can you ask for? I've been to Wind a few times, everything is always lovely. I learned you can pet the robots "ears" and they'll talk, they occasionally run into the table so I'm glad the human staff (who are always delightful) bring the soups. My favorites on the all you can eat menu are salmon roses, Thai coconut soup and the salmon/spicy salmon pizzas, but everything in wonderful. The only thing I didn't love was the pad thai, I prefer the wider, flat rice noodles at other local places and it was a little bland compared to other things on the menu. Overall it is fantastic and especially great for groups so you can share and try all the things!!“
“Beautiful decor, very pretty inside. Server wasn't what I would call "friendly"; more like "coolly polite", but he did an excellent job. The food: Absolutely delicious! There's a Combo deal of soup + two or three sushi rolls; we combined & shared that with Seafood Udon noodles and one special roll, "Dark Angel". All of it was wonderful, we ate waaay too much LOL and took the noodles home. Will definitely be returning soon!! Sorry I only got one pic (Angel roll), we were enjoying the meal & forgot to photo!“
“We came here on a Friday night and it was busy, but we got seated right away. I ordered the sashimi dinner and my partner ordered the tonkatsu.Both dinners came with a choice of soup or salad and I choose the salad with mine. The dressing was delicious and the vegetables were fresh. It also came with a bowl of white rice.The sashimi dinner was very fresh and the pieces of fish were generous. It was delicious and well worth the price. I was super full from my dinner by the end of the meal.“

I ordered Burmese fried rice and my husband ordered Beef curry. Everything was fantastic. The salmon was fresh, black rice was excellent. My husband said the beef was extremely tender and delicious. It was nice to try a different place and we will be back for sure.Dietary restrictions: They were very good at ensuring my meal was not spicy. For all allergies, the food is prepared in the back, in a allergy clean cook area. You can still sit with your group and enjoy the hibachi. I personally could have gone for a little more heat, but hey, this is Depew we're talking about, so I get it.“
