Alexandros Greek Taverna is under new Greek owners who know how to run a true Greek restaurant. The food is amazing, fresh, and homemade. The portions are great, and meals like the pork gyro, chicken souvlaki pita, and lamb dinner are delicious. The lamb is so tasty and cooked to perfection, and the chicken is well seasoned. The tzatziki is generous, and the fries are really tasty with a homemade sauce. A lovely secret sauce made by the owner's wife complements the dishes. The staff are super friendly, welcoming, and helpful with suggestions from the menu. The restaurant is super clean, with a beautiful view of the fountain and the Danforth from the inside seating area and patio. The meal can be finished with fresh loukoumades (honey balls), which are so addictive. The customer service is incredible, and the staff seem to truly love what they do.
