“Good and ambience was great, best roast I've had outside the UK. But service was poor, ordering was a glass of wine took 3 attempts and then came at the end of the main meal, was wanted to order out desserts after our mains but were told we couldn't. Staff were just not very reactive“

“A good friend from Montreal, was in Toronto today, and an acquaintance who we haven't seen for some time, and Bill and I met for a late lunch at the 'House on Parliament', (454 Parliament St. - west side of the St., south of Carlton St.). Someone recommended to us and it was our first visit there. The staff were friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was great, the food (great menu) was delicious, and the prices were fair! I had the 'Vodka cured smoked salmon' with fresh basil cream cheese, capers, cucumber, red onion confit and crostini. Very fresh and very tasty. The others also really enjoyed their meal too. If you're ever in the vicinity, I would highly recommend going there. Check out their page on fb to see some great pics of the food they serve. We will definitely go back there...“

“The food is out of this world!!! We went last night, chicken tikka, stuffed Yorkie fish and chips. All are the best in category. How is that even possible? Somehow they have knocked all of them outta the park. Even had live music ❤️“

“Been coming here for over 3 years now. We were celebrating my girlfriend's birthday so we decided to make a reservation this time. I requested the booth, but it was a bit short notice, so it was already occupied. Unfortunately, no one acknowledged our special occasion, which is okay but it would've been nicer. The server was great, but it seemed like they were a bit short-staffed. The food was amazing, with generous portions. Lovely ambience as well. We will be coming back, hopefully these small things were just a coincidence“

“Came here with a few friends for drinks and although the starters were just ok, the drinks were great and the service was lovely! We had Leo as our server so stunningly gorgeous, looks aside Leo was very prompt, organized and friendly. We obviously had to be generous with our tip. definitely come for some casual drinks:)“
