Stumbled upon Buca Osteria on a rainy Saturday evening with a friend and honestly couldn't have picked a better spot. The handmade squid ink pasta was incredible — rich, perfectly al dente, and easily one of the best things I've eaten since moving to Toronto. The space has this warm, candlelit energy that feels intimate without being stuffy, and the staff were genuinely attentive without hovering. Definitely coming back before patio season ends.
Restaurant was okay, but honestly not worth the price. The food was decent, but nothing special, and I was pretty disappointed with the lack of options for people who don’t eat beef or pork—almost no chicken dishes on the menu.
