The sandwiches are highly recommended, with particular praise for the turkey club. The bread is lightly toasted, warm, and soft inside, featuring freshly sliced turkey and crispy bacon layered properly. The fries are hot and fresh. The bakery is also famous for its apple fritters, often called the best in town. The fritters have the right amount of glaze and apple pieces, are not too sweet, and are a good size, sometimes enough for two people. Other noted items include breakfast sandwiches and the Portuguese custard tart. Finding a seat can be challenging, with only two benches outside, but the quality of the basics shows the care put into the food.
