“I stopped by Union Chicken at Union Station recently. The standout here is definitely the flavour, the kitchen has absolutely mastered the seasoning, and everything tasted delicious. However, there are a few execution details holding the experience back. First, the food temperature was disappointing. I ordered the rotisserie chicken and fries, and it arrived tepid rather than hot. I get that rotisserie chicken is made ahead of time, but I assume it had been pre-cut and left sitting in a food warmer, and the fries felt a bit tired instead of freshly made. On the fried chicken side, the flavor was spot on, but the breading completely flaked off the meat while eating it, would have been more enjoyable with better adhesion (perhaps a better dredge?). The meal layout could also use a rethink. Some of the larger meals are served on plates that are simply too small, making it a balancing act to keep food from spilling over or requiring multiple plates. Also, pairing a fried chicken plate with a heavy slice of brioche is a massive carb overload; swapping that bread for a fresh, crisp vegetable would make the meal way more cohesive and balanced. As for the service, the staff were friendly and welcoming, which gave the meal a nice, pleasant foundation. There is definitely still some room for them to sharpen their efficiency and attentiveness as they grow, but the positive attitude is already there. It's a solid, flavorful station stop, and with a few minor tweaks to freshness and plating, it could easily become a top-tier spot.“

“I saw a tiktok video from Clement a while ago and finally tried it via uber eats. Despite being takeout it was the BESY fried chicken I have ever had!!!! I’m still thinking about it days later. I wish they had a spicier breading on the chicken (similar to jolibee) but the original chicken is so juicy I don’t mind. Burger was good too but I was so full cause they give you 4 pieces!!! I can’t wait to try more!“

“I love me some Big Mary. Honestly, their sandwiches and fried chicken beat out the vast majority of the chain restaurants out there. There’s maybe one other place that even belongs in the same conversation, but the Spicy Big Mary is easily my absolute favorite sandwich overall. I ask for a packet of Louisiana hot sauce and add it to my sandwhcih for that extra kick. Even without it, the sandwhich has great crunch, awesome kick, and real quality chicken.

“I haven’t had Popeyes for a hot minute but was craving a fried chicken sandwich. Downloaded the app and had a free nugget offer. The chicken sandwich was yummy but what I wasn’t expecting was the nuggets! They were so fresh and crispy! The fries were delicious and had a warm buttery biscuit to top off the meal! I’m sure the calories were a lot but it was well worth it! Staff were attentive and the store was well kept. Thank you Popeyes!“

Believe it or Not I ate the sandwich without having anything to drink and I sure felt like a Dragon On Fire Afterwards! Lol. Furthermore, in order to get your sandwich, You had to register on TikTok or Instagram and I did it through TikTok in which I recently opened up my account just to get the Hot Chicken Sandwich! Anyhow I chose this location because the girl here was nice to me before. I wanted to see her again she said she was from north India. This time around she decided to stay in the office and send some random guy out to service me (the same one who can't figure out what a daily special is). Even though I sat there and ate my wings she never once came out as though she was scorning. At first I thought she set him up to piss me off then I realized it was most likely karma the guy at the grocery store charged me 25 cents less than he should have for my cookie at first I thought it was a good gesture but then I realized no good deed goes unpunished and something would happen to balance it out so them charging me me a bit extra was just karma, you win some and you lose some. I got to tell you that the sandwich and the shrimps were exceptional. They were not too greasy and they were well made.
