“Stopped by Union Chicken for a quick bite before catching my train, and it turned out to be a pretty good choice. The restaurant is located right inside Union Station, so very convenient if you’re commuting or just passing through. I ordered sweet and spicy fried chicken sandwich — it was crispy and flavourful. Prices are on the higher side for a casual spot, but that’s expected at a location like this. The coleslaw, ordered as a side dish was crunchy, with a light, tangy dressing. It was  more on the creamy side but still felt refreshing — not too heavy or sweet. A nice contrast to the richness of the fried chicken, and a good side if you're looking for something lighter than fries.
The service was relatively quick, even though the place was fairly busy.

“The claim to fame of this brand is that they sell chicken sandwiches and chicken strips where you decide the spice level of your item from no spice to "reaper" spice level.
The product is very tasty, and their French fries are also great.
My recommendation is to error on the side of less and not more spice since their very hot sandwiches are very hot indeed.
Washrooms were clean abd well supplied.
All in all, it was a great meal!“

“I'll only be ordering from Mary Brown's whenever I crave fried chicken from now on. First of all, it's one of the few Canadian businesses that hasn't been bought out by an American parent company. Secondly, the service has been consistently good compared to KFC and Popeyes. If you order a 4-piece meal, it's one leg, one thigh, one wing, and one breast. Not once have they mixed up an order or forgotten an item. Unlike at Popeyes, where 8 out of 10 times they either forget an item or give you all thighs in a three-piece meal. This is what integrity and quality mean to me. Five stars to MB's, and keep up the good work! You guys rock“

“At Church's Chicken, we had our hearts set on trying the Mexicana sandwich, but when we saw the price, we realized our wallets weren't quite up to the challenge. Thankfully, the kind worker behind the counter was quick to offer us an alternative, suggesting the classic chicken sandwich instead. It may not have been what we initially planned, but it turned out to be a delicious choice. We appreciated the worker's helpfulness and left satisfied with our meal.“

I do believe they do have the best 🍗 chicken sandwiches available with the ability to max out the spiciness level and all sorts of the sides to choose from.

“Honestly I am was not super familiar with Mary Browns until fairly recently as there just aren’t any as close to my home as Popeyes etc but have been trying to frequent this location more, especially for the Big Mary Monday deal.

The staff are always so friendly! The establishment is clean and tidy. Efficiency in all ways from what I can see.

It’s unfortunate that the parking can get tight because of the Starbucks. And the particular corner with all the turn in/out restrictions takes some driving math sometimes! lol

“Every time I come to this location at Parliament & Winchester it’s normally great service, my 2 main issues are the tables are normally not cleaned and garbage is sitting on the table tops and leftover food n sauces not cleaned every time I come on random days as well I am here today which is Oct 18,2024 there guy staff was nice but women behind the counter was rude when ordering I ordered a pop for my niece and before I could finish ordering she said out loud “that’s it all you want is a pop? Anything else?” I said YES actually I want the 12 piece combo with extra sides then she was sort of nice and I requested for extra napkins, and cutlery and a bag when waiting for our food it took longer than it should we ordered around 2:16 and did t get our food till after 2:45 as that was happening others who came after us got there orders. As well when she brought our food she forgotten a few things I’ve asked for so my niece went up to request again and as she was requesting them my niece had noticed the lady rolled her eyes and looked annoyed as my niece was polite used her manners .. I get everyone has there bad days but please don’t take it out on your customers it’s not cool. It’s all I ask. If this attitude continues I will report to head office but I figure I’ll sorta let it go but I had to write a review about it.“

Portion size is a bit less for sides with normal meals here so I buy boxes of fries instead. This was a few weeks back but I remember eating every morsel and finishing my dinner in one sitting. “The food was good, extremely oily but served hot and fresh. It’s a must try once. The restaurant was very lacking though no proper tissues on table and table tops werent clean either. I did dine in and then took some home too. The bottom of my box that my food was served in started to give away while I was eating in store and you could see from residue on the table that it happens a lot so maybe the restaurant should start serving in actual plates. Also packing for my takeaway SO bad the bag started to leak oil on the bottom. Please switch to plastic boxes your oil food and paper boxes are a bad combo!“

“This place had one cashier and one cook at the back. So busy at the time i went. The man at the front had to take orders and pack food for orders while running around to grab things in the back. He remained calm without being angry when people were waiting a long time. It would of been better to have two people to manage at dinner but who knew it gets busy and the ttc kicked all of us out of the subway due to track injuries so we all got out to find some food for dinner instead of waiting in the rain outside. It was the longest wait for my mobile order at popeyes. I never ordered in advance online until that time.“
