“Charming Izakaya spot with beautiful dishes served. You must get the Moto Eggs and Dyno Wings, 10/10 so so good. I wish there were more salmon in the Salmon Aburi especially towards the bottom of the roll, but other than that, it was really good, and beautifully served by the way. The moto bun is quite good but could be better - a crispy chicken paired with the curry sauce would complement the soft bun. The service was really good and the server we had was very friendly. Overall a really great experience and would recommend.“

“Every dish we tried we liked. Very comfortable setting. We couldn't tell if the Orion beer is real because they didn't open the bottles in front of us (as is normal for a bar in japan) but it did have a nice malt flavour so we think it's authentic 😆, the highball could be stronger. Would recommend, would return. Best dish for me was the hotate wasa“

“So glad we chose to try this Izakaya, this is by far one of the best we've tried! Flavor is on point for all the dishes we ordered. I just want to emphasize the pork belly skewers Sanmainiku as it was perfectly seasoned and grilled! Anyone wanting to try this place should make reservations as walking in might result in a bit of a wait. Will definitely go back try more of their offerings“

“This place was very chill and the food was really good! Skewers were easy to share and tasty. My favourites may be the tamago and the salt chicken! The takoyaki was amazing.
The atmosphere is relaxing and beautiful, not what I expected. It didn't feel like a bar and it was very family friendly! Bathrooms were clean and I love the aesthetic!
Only issue would be that their prices are a little high but it's definitely worth going!“

“Delicious food. I really like their takoyaki and chicken nanban. Their dishes and drinks are really unique. They also have a happy hour for $5 beer from 5:30-8pm sun-thurs. Staff is friendly and I would recommended making a reservation as well as they do get busy especially during weekends.“

“Came here as a group of 6 and we ordered a variety of dishes off the menu.
Seafood gratin, uni pasta, spicy yaki beef udon, aburi salmon roll, karaage, nankotsu karaage, coconut ebi mayo, hashi wings, tontoro shishito, and spicy seafood tteokbokki.
Overall all the dishes tasted really good. I would definitely recommend: karaage, hashi wings, tontoro shishito, spicy seafood tteobokki, and the spicy yaki beef udon.
The service here was also really good, the stsff would regularly check on our table to refill our water and take the dishes away.
We ended up spending around 300 in total for about 12 dishes, a pitcher of beer, and 2 pops.“

“Mokutan is a cozy izakaya with a booth-style layout, creating a comfortable, intimate atmosphere. It has a very similar vibe and layout to the neighboring Anji Izakaya, but tends to be quieter. The oden soup with beef tendon was especially delicious, although the menu itself is somewhat limited. Parking spaces are also limited, so keep that in mind if you’re planning a visit.“

“Friends highly recommended us to try this restaurant, we made reservations last night.!When we entered the server said we have two hours for dinner. We ordered different kinds of food to try like deep fried pork belly (melted in your mouth, just the right temperature), unagi risotto (the texture is very rich, the risotto is different than the Italian style), tuna brioche ( once you start to bite there are so many flavors), baked oysters (must try, I like the creamy mixture), Napa burger sliders ( we saw so many tables ordered this plate, we also tried and found out it’s very tasty), ox tongue and honey bread with cream. We also Sangria and Peach flavor soju, both drinks are good. All dishes have distinct flavors and highly recommended to make reservations before you go for dinner.“

“Staff are friendlier and food are prepared in an open kitchen. The ventilation is great and doesn’t feel smokey inside.
The vibe is close to Japanese local izakaya, but the price is a lot higher, with limited selection of sake.
The saba and ika somen stood out, while the fried oysters and uni baguette were the least worthwhile dishes.“
