“We had a wonderful family dinner at Amal Toronto and everything exceeded our expectations. We started with the mixed appetizer plate (hummus, labneh, and muhammara) served with freshly made pita bread—everything was delicious, but the muhammara was by far the best I’ve ever had. We also ordered the Manouche bi Lahme (meat pie), which was incredibly flavourful and perfectly prepared, as well as the shakshouka, which was nicely spiced and very satisfying. For our entrées, the mixed grill platter truly impressed us with its quality and taste. The refreshing drinks were a great finishing touch. The service was excellent—attentive, warm, and professional throughout our visit. An excellent dining experience all around—highly recommended!“

“Came here yesterday with several friends and we had the best time! The service, food and atmosphere were all amazing. The price point is good and the portions are BIG! To start, the meat maeesha had a really nice flatbread and the meat was nicely seasoned with a bit of a cinnamon flavour to it - this was unexpected but a delicious surprise for me. Next I had the mixed kebab, which I highly recommend. The meat, sauces, rice and pita were perfection. The hummus though… SO GOOD!! I got to try the Jerusalem salad vs the Fatoush salad and while both were great, I preferred the latter.“

“This place is a sure gem! Everything from the top notch service to the clean and neat environment, to the exquisite desserts. We were so impressed. I had the 'Fruitmania' and it was very good. It was the first time trying ashta and the more I ate it, the more I fell in love with it. It was perfectly paired with the strawberry and mango juice. The right amount of sweetness! “One of the Best shawarmas I had in Toronto. It is meaty and saucy - they way I like it. Love that the have a hotdog sausage in the shawarma. I ordered the sweet potato fries too - which were also great The meat is tender and fresh - seems like you are eating thighs but it’s actually chicken breast. Highly recommended“
