I used to go to this location religiously for a good 3-4 years until it swapped to new management around the beginning of the pandemic. I stopped because they had changed the recipe for the j*** chicken and it just wasn't the same.Not sure what they did recently but they have brought back the old recipe and the chicken tastes fantastic again.The staff are also great. Gonna be honest- this place kinda made my day.I was having a bit of a slow morning, but the staff were so friendly and full of positive energy that it immediately lifted my spirits.And the food... that first bite was like magic. I've had plenty of Carribean all over Toronto, but this might be my favorite spot now. They used to have toonie tuesdays, now its $4 but still worth it in my opinion. The proportion is pretty good, one box should fill you up. I believe they are new owners, but still same good quality ! I got the fried chicken with red sauce, with rice and peas with gravy and coleslaw.
