Usually I come here very often, but this might be the last time. The barista was absolutely unaware about his job. There is no way I got 10% drink and 90% ice in my cup. And on top of that my friends drink was literally only sweet condensed milk, when asked to fix it he brushed it off and I just didn’t waste over 17 dollars on this. Not like it matters losing one customer but the fact the guy working was so not helpful is crazy. Never in my life has a place served me that much ice with a touch of the drink. Not the best place, absolutely worse experience possible.

The experience here is really questionable. Went there for dine in but only to find myself waiting in line with no staff in sight to take orders. Not a single barista bothered to acknowledge customers or say hi. And where the barista claimed the drink I wanted was sold out. However, moments later, when my friend ordered the same drink, suddenly there were options available. Moreover, I ordered cake for dine in but the barista just gave me the fork and I was a little bit shocked to receive it in takeout containers meant for eating in

I would want to leave a better review if the barista/server are nicer than what I experienced today. Me and my friend, we were trying to get Thai ice tea but the barista said they ran out of Thai tea which is understandable but 20 mins later when another friend of mine came in and order Thai tea, he made it for her. That’s is very wired. The drinks tasted okay, coffee is nice but the server/barista didn’t bother to give us service at all. When we want to leave the place they also ask us to bring ‘for here glasses’ to counter in very mean way. Over all, I should have visit other cafe. I am not recommend this place.

I visited Plearn recently to do some work, and was pleasantly surprised with my experience. The coffeeshop’s clean and thematic decor stand out as soon as you walk in. The visuals on the coffee shop were very pretty, and it made taking pictures of my order fun. The service was amazing, and I enjoyed my latte order. My main criticism is that the cafe sacrificed some functionality for aesthetics. Plearn is often talked about as a co-working space, but all of their sitting are backless stools (even in large tables with charging ports) that don’t accommodate that. Otherwise, a very pretty cafe for a drink with a friend!

If you’re a student trying to get a coffee for your 9 am class, don’t bother. I stood out there for 15 minutes last 9 am, which is their opening time, and nobody was even inside. I even had the option to order from Uber eats, and my order would have just stayed there because lights were off, no one inside at opening time. How do you run a business like that. Especially one centred around the students on campus

Cafe was unclean and the drink was not worth the price. Seating cushions and floor had lot of stains from drinks and food. Barista working alone at the time doesn’t bother keeping cafe clean. Giant toilet paper roll left out and worker doesn’t bother to put it in the dispenser. Only a few customers and the tables had crumbs and stained with coffee. Interior looks nicer on social media.

wildly slow and expensive for just a bad americano. waited 10 min for a single Americano...

Honestly wish I could give this cafe a better review… But my experience was overall just mediocre. The tiramisu was WAY too expensive for the size and the cream tasted sour. I ordered their new drink “Nice Day” and although it was tasty, it wasn’t anything special from a regular fruity soda, especially one for $8. The seating was quite nice though and the barista did a great job handling orders as he was the only employee at the time. In general, I’d like to come back to try some of their other drinks, but the treats weren’t their worth.

Recently visited Plearn Cafe to unwind with a friend before our evening plans, and it didn't disappoint. Conveniently located near TMU, it's easily accessible for students. The interior boasts a minimalist yet cozy vibe, with muted white tones and beige bricks adding to its charm. We were intrigued by their unique chandelier, which added to the ambiance. As for the drinks, we tried the Banana Coffee and Nice Day. The Banana Coffee, a blend of espresso, caramel syrup, and banana milk, offered a delightful mix of bitter and sweet flavors. Meanwhile, the Nice Day, with its peach, honey, yuzu, lemon, and soda combination, proved to be a refreshing treat with vibrant citrus notes. Just a heads up - seating lacks backrests, so it might not be ideal for extended work sessions. Nevertheless, it's a great spot to enjoy specialty drinks and unwind.Parking: Park by church street

I went to this cafe on a nice day, its a cute setting to be in. I ordered the latte with lactose free milk and a double chocolate cookie, the barista was helpful picking my options. My small meal was yummy. I would come here again! It was not too crowded. The music that they were playing was awesome! I was happy it was close to my house too! :D

Nice little coffee shop. Fun, well-made drinks. Great service. Clean establishment, just limited seating capacity.
