The store was jammed packed today and the one cashier took all the customers and orders diligently. Like wow superb. Food tasted like popeyes and was good. Would come back. Its an A++++. It says under new management and i see and hope they are in the right direction.
This store is not busy. Some of the young employees who used to work here was making the service busy. The older woman who served others was making the service to be not busy. The commercial for Popeyes chicken on Citytv, CTV 2, The W network is so annoying!!!.
I stopped by the newly reopened Popeyes at 553 Bloor St. right in the heart of The Annex after hearing it was under new management, and the difference is immediately noticeable.
The restaurant was clean, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and my order came out fresh and surprisingly fast. The chicken was hot, crispy, and cooked perfectly, the fries were seasoned just right, and everything tasted like it was made to order.
