The Famous Owl of Minerva Reviews
The food was mediocre at best. The Korean deep-fried chicken was disappointing and looked unappetizing. The service was very poor—the server was rude and repeatedly tried to take our menu even after we explained that we were waiting for a friend. When we asked for an extra spoon, she raised her voice and appeared grumpy and unprofessional. She may have been irritated due to another loud group in the restaurant, but that should not affect how other guests are treated.

The Famous Owl of Minerva serves delicious Korean dishes, including tteokbokki and gamjatang, with generous portions and a wide selection of banchan. Customers enjoy the nice and fresh food, which arrives hot from the kitchen. The menu is fantastic, and flavors are always spot on and consistent. The ambiance is cozy, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a comforting meal without loud distractions. While the place is definitely small and can feel overwhelming when busy, it is still a great choice for a hearty, satisfying meal, especially later in the day. Prices may be slightly higher, around $25 per person, but the staff members are very friendly, attentive, and quick with deliveries, always ready to refill side dishes. Additionally, there are separate areas for electrical grills, maximizing space for diners. However, it is worth noting that a TV show plays in the background, which may not suit everyone. Overall, this restaurant is a great choice for authentic Korean food, especially during less busy times.
