It’s my first time trying this location on Queen St W, but I’ve been to the Zakkushi on Denman in Vancouver. I remember I had a good experience in their Vancouver location, and I had the same positive experience here.Everything we ordered tasted pretty great. In addition to yakitori of various parts, there was also a wide variety of side menus and rice dishes.There were also Japanese sake, Japanese-style cocktails, and mega highballs, which got me excited.

The best Yakitori and izakaya food I’ve had in the Toronto. Honestly I’d say it’s better than a lot of places I’ve tried in Japan. Highlights were the A5 wagyu skewer and the chicken thighs with leeks. Great place to eat and have a drink with friends. Definitely coming
