“We were driving from Alliston to Stoney Creek and stopped to find a place for dinner. We thought we wouldn’t get in without a reservation. We were seated at the bar. Mike was very hospitable, asking us about our likes and dislikes. We went with his suggestions. After an appetizer of warm olives, I had grilled sea bass with French fried carrot. Perfectly prepared, unusual and delicious. My husband had pasta with a pecorino cheese. We were very grateful to find this accommodating place for an impromptu visit dinner.“
“We are not from this area, but passing through late on Friday night back to Peterborough, we decided to find a place to eat. Always preferring local eateries vs "chain" stores whenever we're in a new place, we rolled into Sasso's on a whim. Vince the owner was very accomodating. Service was great, and my only regret was we couldn't hang out and experience some of their wine selection to go along with the fantastic food! (too long a cab ride...) Kudos to the chef! We'll definitely seek it out again next time we're in the Nobleton area. Thanks guys.“

“It’s my first time come to this location. The restaurant is not busy at the time we were there. I like the steak wrapped with cheese outside the most, because it was juicy and tasty. The lamp and other steak seemed to be too dry. The spicy steak was way over cooked. There were lots of options at the salad bar. Service was great.“

“New to the area for the second time here, the first visit service was great, second visit the waiter was extremely rude snatch wine glasses off the table came early with the cheque he was doing everything he could to get us to leave so that he could turn over his table. He treated everyone as if we were there for a one time visit and would never see us again. We will be back again but will not be seated with him.“
“We recently made my Mom’s 100th birthday lunch here. We had approximately 60 adults and 4 small children. I cannot rave enough about how accommodating the entire staff were from owner, to servers, to chefs…The menu they created was wonderful with the most delicious choices and generous portions. I would strongly recommend this restaurant for entertainments ( showers, engagements, small events .. etc) but also for lunch or dinner. They have a wonderful patio as well. I can’t wait to go back and I have the dishes I personally didn’t order. They were all great. My guests can’t stop raving.“
