“A group of 9 decided to venture into Warkworth today and Jeannine’s backtalk cafe was recommended…we walked in and right in the middle of the room was a large table! Sat down placed our orders and had some time to chat. Well it wasn’t long before every table was taken and our hostess was running around getting everyone’s order. Nicole was very attentive refilling the coffee, and delivering everyone’s meal. A room of 26 customers who she personally served by herself! When it was time to leave we had to pay cash at the cash register… I approached Nicole and told her job well done!!! She reached out and gave me a huge hug! I am thinking we will be back! Thanks Nicole and the kitchen staff, we were truly BLESSED today!“

“We had a wonderful experience at K OKay Cafe and Roasters. The coffee was smooth and aromatic, and the food was delicious and satisfying. I ordered the ham and brie sandwich, which had a perfect balance of salty, creamy, and tangy flavors. The bread was fresh and crispy, and the gherkins added a nice crunch. My wife had the genoa panini, which was also very tasty and filling. The cheese was melted and gooey, and the pesto was flavorful and fresh. We shared a massive oat and chocolate chip cookie for dessert, which were soft and chewy, with chunks of rich Belgian chocolate. They were some of the best cookies I've ever had!The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. We enjoyed looking at the local art on the walls, which was also for sale. The owners, Katie and Kevin, were very welcoming and engaging. They told us about their passion for roasting coffee and supporting local farmers and producers. They also shared their love for skiing at Brimicombe ski resort, which is not far from the cafe. They really made us feel like part of the community.I highly recommend K OKay Cafe and Roasters to anyone looking for a great place to relax, enjoy a cup of coffee, and have a bite to eat. It's a gem in Warkworth, and I can't wait to go back!“
