“We have visited On Coal more than 7 times in the last year for large gatherings (8 adults and 6 kids). The double mix platter of lamb and chicken are consistently delicious and done so well. The rice are so flavourful. We enjoy it every time and the guests we host love it as well. The team is friendly and always serve us so well. Love the prayer area as well.“

“My son and I were not initially interested in staying for dinner at the hotel, the weather prompted us to take a chance despite the reviews.
We were greeted promptly and were offered a pitcher of water!
I ordered the Reuben sandwich with a Cesar salad - a little too much sauce but definetely real bacon. The sandwich was hot and delicious with not too much sauerkraut and just enough cheese.
My son ordered a burger, nothing outstanding but fresh toppings and a good sized patty. It could have a slightly bigger bun!
It was quiet but we received our food with hospitality and we were completely satisfied.“

“Huge group but they managed to serve us all. Staff was running and even an owner was running plates. The place is a little dated but was clean and well kept. Food was delicious and portions were good value. Staff was really nice. I'll happily return.

Parking: I was able to find street parking a short walk away.“
