“I take my grandchildren here often, and pop in myself on breaks from work. The kids love the selection of candy and ice cream. I love the lattes (especially pumpkin with real pumpkin in the fall), the fudge and homemade ice cream treats. My favourite is the lemon bar, with lemon pie filling and lemon dessert bars. The addition of warm candied pecans, almonds or cashews is great for cooler days. (or any day, lol) The staff is always smiling, and the portions are generous. There is a yard with picnic tables to enjoy your treats, or walk down to the harbour to sit in the Adirondack chairs and watch the boats. As an addled bonus, if the attached store (Lower Mountain Mercantile) is open, there is a huge selection of toys right through the adjoining door.“
