“We had the spinach dip, well good I don't think it was broiled enough or warm enough. The service was lacking, we asked three times for more pita to use with the dip, the waitress walked by 5 or 6 times and kept saying it's coming but it never came. We were disappointed with the service so instead of ordering more, we paid our bill and left. The service was very much lacking.”

“We got the waziri and sultana plate and it was soo fresh. The complimentary soup was super tasty. And the chicken tandoori skewers were very tender and moist. The food was steaming and the naan was probably the best naan I’ve had from a kebab shop. The service was really nice and the chef came to us to make sure we had a good meal. The atmosphere was family friendly and quiet and it was respectful for all types of diners. I would definitely come here again. The plates came with rice and naan and a salad with a good amount of meat.

While the concept of an advent calendar remains exciting, the selection of beers this year felt underwhelming. It appeared that the calendar primarily included beers that were already available throughout the year, particularly those that hadn't sold well, such as light beers and those branded for golf courses. This left a sense of disappointment, as the advent calendar typically offered a chance to try unique or seasonal brews. Hopefully, Brock Street Brewery can revisit the spirit of past advent calendars and curate a more exciting and diverse selection of beers for future holiday seasons.”

“I've been coming to this location for years and often I drive out of my way to go here because of the friendly and helpful service I receive from the drive-thru employee Jane. The weekend staff are horrendous in comparison... They don't say a word to you even when you greet them in a friendly way. Jane always has a smile on her face and will often go the extra mile and wish you a great day. Even when it's busy Jane is always there with a smile for customers as they drive through. To me she is the face of this location and the reason I return almost daily. I believe the drive-thru is so busy because of the weekday morning staffs friendly and welcoming service.”

“We have been ordering from Wing House Express since they opened. The convenience is great as we live in the neighbourhood. However, our last few orders have been lacking quality and customer service. Recently we ordered the game day special, and we were surprised by the lack of onion rings in our order (past orders they have been full to the top), this order would be suitable for one person, not two. We also did not get our dipping sauces, that come with the meal. By the time we realized, it was too late, and my husband didn't want to walk back. The food is amazing, we just wish the quality would improve.”

“I don’t leave reviews often, nor am I really a cake person but I just had to leave 5 stars! We ordered a custom cake for a friend’s 30th (who’s pregnant and had a very specific craving). We were able to order a lemon cake with raspberry filling and cream cheese icing just as the mama to be wanted. It was one of the best cakes we’ve ever had, not to mention how beautiful it looked. It wasn’t overly sweet and it was light and delicate but packed with flavour.

“Short review. Chili chicken lunch special reminded me of my lunches, as a student, on Spadina Ave in Toronto many years ago. The portion is generous, lots of chicken, no skimping plus two egg rolls.

Spice level was perfect for me. Not mild, not crazy Sichuan hot. Enough heat to be able to taste the tender chicken and crispy vegetables.

Everything was humble, the restaurant was clean, Happy Caribbean tunes play in the background, friendly staff.

“I just moved down the street from this Pizza Pizza location and I am SO happy I decided to order from them!! I have ordered from so many restaurants trying to find a decent plant based Pizza that even slightly resembles the flavor and texture of a regular dairy and pepperoni Pizza that I used to enjoy 8 years ago before changing my lifestyle...even restaurants that are 100% vegan can't top the Plant Based Pepperoni I ordered from this location!! It was SO GOOD!! I completely understand that cooking and baking with plant based ingredients like the dairy free cheese and pepperoni etc can be a bit tricky as they do not cook or melt the same as regular, and so many takeout plant based Pizzas I have tried were just awful BUT this Pizza Pizza Location has figured it out!! It was so good I just picked up another one for lunch today! Ontop of the pizza being very tasty and fresh, it was prepared fast and the staff are wonderful and very friendly. I highly recommend checking them out!!
