Spreading truffle butter on it was chef’s kiss—it melts in your mouth! 😭👌 • Scallop Inari Lumpia: Beautifully presented with fried sushi rice, ginger-chili dressed Argentinian shrimp, and seared scallop on top. “I've been a customer of this restaurant since they started their branch on Bathurst St. Over the years, I've watched the business grow, and I'm always impressed by their service, food, and ambiance. The friendly staff always put a smile on my face, from ordering to finishing my meal. The restaurant continues to evolve, introducing new menu ideas and popular Filipino desserts-to-go like Taho, Buko Pandan, and Fruit Salad. Kabalen is a true gem in North York, perfect for bringing visitors to satisfy their cravings - a home away from home. One drawback though, is the accessibility. The dining area is located upstairs and the washroom is downstairs in the basement. As a result, it is not advisable for wheelchair users to dine in. Nonetheless, the establishment maintains a clean environment and is conducive for group gatherings, or for individuals like myself, who just wants to unwind after a days work.“

“Catering order was delicious for a large birthday party. Everyone loved the authentic, tasty and good quality food. They especially were fans of the BBQ chicken and garlic fried rice. There were a couple hurdles with the communication of the order, but ultimately we were very happy with the order and will order again and recommend!“

If you want delicious authentic extremely affordable food with huge servings, come to Batibot. Their pork adobo, lumpia and leche flan are my favourites!!! First responders raved about their lumpia also. Leche flan is super creamy, tastes like crème brule. So yummy! 😋 ❤️❤️❤️❤️“

“My family and I, went to Bangku for lunch as it is my Mom's birthday. I was born here in Canada but this place makes it feel like I was born in the Philippines. We ordered three different dishes and everything was cooked fresh and made to perfection. We received large portions which made our money's worth! Customer service here was top notch and everyone was so nice. My family and I will certainly be back at least once every week! Definitely a 10/10!“

“This place is an absolute gem 🩷 The staff is very warm, friendly, and their service is amazing. They have a lot of food varieties from street food to actual Filipino dishes, the atmosphere is super cozy, chill, and the environment is clean. They have lots of seating both indoors and outdoors as well. The wait wasn’t long, and my food arrived quickly and was prepared well. I ordered the lumpia on the side, and ordered the tapsilog dish. 10/10! Soooo good. They also gave us complimentary soup broth that tasted really good too! I highly recommend this place, and it definitely lives up to the hype!“

“This is food that will make you smile as you eat. My delivery was packaged so carefully, and you can tell they take pride in their food. Everything I ordered was absolutely incredible; the lumpia are crisp, the pork adobo is flavourful and juicy. I loved that the cassavanova (dessert) was packaged individually so that you can 'build it yourself' and enjoy each bite of the different flavours.
