“When you walk in, it has a fine dining atmosphere. However, the pricing did not reflect the appearance. The service was efficient and friendly, and the food was excellent. I had the chicken sandwich. It was served in a warm, fresh crispy bun, lots of delicious tender grilled chicken breast.... for $12.00... excellent value and incredible taste.... very filling, so bring an appetite.“

“The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were exceptional. The establishment is very clean and has an upscale feeling with home like treatment. The owner came around to check on each table. Warm and welcoming. My 9 year old grandson loved his food and pinches of the cheek from the maître d’. 😆 We’ve been before and will definitely come back again.“

“The chef's service is good and he answers all questions.
The food looked delicious, the seafood fried rice had plenty of ingredients, lots of shrimp in the rice, and the grilled chicken was a bit dry. After I bought a Portuguese egg tart, I realized that the filling inside was not egg, but it was delicious.
This store is takeout only, and there is a paid parking lot nearby on the same street.“
“One of my family members said this is the best place for Portuguese food in Toronto. We were hungry so we thought we would give it a try. We phoned through our order and went and collected it and once it was home we tucked in. The food was EXCELLENT! There was plenty to go round and for us all. Highly Recommended!“

“Nova Era Bakery & Pastry is a gem for anyone craving authentic Portuguese pastries and a cozy European-style café experience. The bakery offers a wide variety of fresh and delicious treats, including the famous Portuguese custard tarts, or pastéis de nata, which have the perfect balance of crisp, flaky crust and creamy custard filling.
In addition to the pastéis de nata, they have a great selection of other traditional pastries like pão de Deus (sweet bread with coconut topping), queijadas (small custard cakes), and assorted croissants and buns. Their bread, especially the pão de milho (cornbread), is always fresh and has a wonderful homemade taste.
Nova Era’s coffee is rich and pairs well with any of their pastries. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, making it a nice spot for a quiet breakfast, a coffee break, or even a light lunch. The staff is friendly and efficient, providing great service even during busy times.
Overall, Nova Era Bakery & Pastry is a must-visit for anyone looking to experience the comforting and nostalgic flavors of Portugal right in Toronto. With high-quality products and a welcoming vibe, it's easy to see why this bakery has such a loyal following.“
“I want to give a huge shout-out to the amazing waitress Paula! Every time I visit, she and Shan are the only ones who are always smiling, incredibly polite, and ready to serve with enthusiasm. The food is consistently delicious, making it truly worth experiencing Portuguese cuisine in Toronto. Note: They always provide exceptional service ????“
