“Family and I were passing through town and saw this place. We were there at 5:30, they close at 6 but welcomed us in. Best BBQ I've had in years. We noticed he has a table set with a POW flag and we found that awsome. Great service, great people, great food!”
“Love this place! ❤️When the wife tried to go vegan, this was my secret get away to get a burger and breakfast burrito in the system ?. Ask for your berger to be angry, and they will add a delicious sauce and jalapeños to it. ?( If this post goes down and I come up missing, the wife is the first suspect!!!)”
“Great beer and great people! This is not a brew pub or a full sit down bar, the area available to taste beer and have a glass is about 30sq ft and more than 4 people will feel crammed. It’s a wonderful place to taste the beers that Arch Rock has and to pickup some beers to go and merch! The beer hands down is some of the best around and extremely fresh!”
“My wife and I eat here at least 4 times a year when we stay in Gold Beach. This was the first to go order and we were highly disappointed. Banana pancakes were not cooked and food was cold. I feel like I just thru $40.00+ away.”
“During tourist season it can be difficult to find parking, but late fall to early spring there's plenty of parking across the street from the bar.A hidden gem as my local favorite place, so I might be biased to say it is a great place to hang out, have drinks, and grab a greasy comfort food bite.”
“Amazing food and better service! My family came in about 30 minutes before close and they didn’t hesitate to serve us and make quality recommendations and food. They custom made an order to include carnitas and shrimp for a fajita style meal. Just ask for the “Plato de Andres” and they’ll hook you up! I’ll definitely be going back soon!”
“In town for the week. We split the chicken pad Thai & beef drunken noodles, spring rolls, and crab Rangoon. Will for sure be back again before leaving town and every time we return. Definitely my favorite dinner of the trip. So good!!”
“I wish I had the name of my server (04/26/2023) but her mastery and control of the restaurant was impressive to watch.. skillful and attentive to everyone. The fish & chips special was a true delight, artfully presented and cooked just perfectly.”
“Debbie has the best food in Gold Beach Oregon on the southern Oregon coast actuallyHer hamburgers are awesome. Her fish and chips is so fresh and yummy. All of her salads are homemade by her as well as her treats and desserts. If you haven’t checked out, hunger paynes the red trailer food wagon on the main strip in Gold Beach you gotta do it she’s at sure hit”
“Had an awesome breakfast Saturday morning at Double D's! Great eggs Benedict special and an amazing biscuit and gravy with cheese a new touch for us. Super nice people and great atmosphere made this a great stop!”
“Amazing oyster shooters! Super fresh meaty and delicious! Calamari strips were awesome! Clam chowder was Ok. Reasonable price great service and nice selection of pours available. We enjoyed the meal and the costal ambiance hard to beat dock life!”
“Shout out to the rockstars running the show, there were literally 3 people to host, clean, take orders, make drinks, and put up with the rude inconsiderate tourist.Place was packed, food and drinks are good, customer service is friendly.Takes one brain cell to figure out 3 people running the show and over 20 guests, it’s going to take a little while to get your food but this did not stop inconsiderate fools from harassing the wait staff. All three workers were amazing, foods good and drinks are good ??Would love to eat here again but hopefully away from tourists with little respect/humanity.”
“Really great place! Didn’t have a reservation but got a nice table in the bar area. Fish and chips with salmon, wow! New York steak medallions and veggies on a kabob, very good! Dark chocolate Sundae for dessert. I would highly recommend Spinners. And great local craft beers”
“We came upon Wong's Cafe as we drove into town late and it was one of the few restaurant's open. There it was, a rather nondescript, dated looking building where you had to use a side door to enter. Now, I have to preface this by acknowledging I grew up eating Cantonese-style Chinese food from the 50's and 60's in a farming town in the valley. Wong's reminded me so much of these Chinese eateries that were plentiful at the time - cantonese styled offerings, adapted to suit the taste buds of the local patrons, many of whom were Japanese and Filipino Americans. This is food I know and it was like visiting an old delicious memory. It was tasty, clean and good. That said, know this is not like the Chinese food you find today. All of which I eat on a regular basis. This is for the palette that wants unpretentious, flavorful, old-school cantonese food that was around before the influx of new Chinese schools of cuisine. This is its own, un-apologetic style. Measure your expectations accordingly. Then, enjoy the sepia-toned ambiance, Mr and Mrs Wong, and their honest, early Chinese American dishes. Been there, in the same spot for 31 years. it's good. I will go back. Oh, don't forget to ask for the mustard.”
“It’s a food truck which we didn’t know before going. And, the food is delicious. I had the rockfish fish n chips with their house made cocktail sauce. My son had the corn dogs. Everything was fresh, tasty, and I’ll definitely go back again if I’m in Gold Beach. There’s plenty of parking and a few picnic tables.”
