Amity's best places for Mexican cuisine are in our list.
“We just stumbled on this small restaurant….we were headed next door to Fred’s Bistro on a Tuesday, but it was closed, so we just ordered a chorizo breakfast burrito, and honestly….the best I’ve had. What a great find in Amity on the way out to the coast!“
“A small parking lot shared by others. It's wheelchair accessible and the food is awesome authentic Mexican cooking with authentic taste. The prices are competitive with the taco trucks and there are 6 tables to sit at. Service was on point. It's definitelyA place to eat at.“
“Best Mexican food in town!I've been going here for years because no other place like it compares. They get the order right, out quickly, every time. Coming from California, I can say that this Mexican food is about as authentic as it gets.“
“Service is a little slow but totally worth it. We had the birria and taquitos Dorados I highly recommend both.Adorable family run place with a good feel.Drinks are a bit light and sweet, order an extra tequila shot and lime to fix them up.“
“Wonderful food truck in McMinnville. Awesome people who own the truck are one thing but the food is outstanding! Large portions and just straight up tasty food. Do yourself a favor and order the nachos with asada. OMG, so good! We will be back when we are craving some good Mexican food!“
“Second time to this food truck on our way home and to the coast. Such amazing food from this little taco truck. Langua is done right and the elote I'd certainly a favorite for me. It's a little bit off the beaten path for us but will always make this trip to have such great food!“
“Best Mexican food I've had in Oregon. The refried beans had a charred/bbq flavor. Everything was hot and crispy and delicious. The cheese enchilada had the best cheese pull I've seen. Excellent price and dessert was included!Kid-friendliness: Their kids menu is pretty large and they give a mild salsa with chips for the kids.“
“I love the place I ordered so much food the tacos you dip are best I've had nachos are amazing and the service is awesome they don't cook the meat till you order it's that fresh 10 out of 10 aye there 3 times and told bunch of “
“The food here is amazing especially the drinks! Their horchatas are something special. They have an insanely good flavor.Every time I come here here there is also great service! Everything comes out quick and fresh. I 100% recommend coming here! I haven’t had a bad experience once.“
“A hidden gem in McMinnville. I found this place by mistake because it doesn't really look like a taqueria. It looks like an ice cream candy shop, which is what you see when you walk in. I really want to be selfish and keep this gem to myself, but everyone deserves to experience real authentic Mexican food that rivals my grandmothers cooking growing up in her home. The tacos are amazing with all tortillas made when you order. They also have pupusas which I think the cheese are the best , they also have gorditas. The only other place I have seen these were in my grandmas kitchen. They are a thick corn tortilla that is stuffed with meat of your choice, asada for me and filled with veggies. (Yum) another favorite is the quesadilla. It's all homemade and it's huge. I can barely finish it , in fact it's hard saying it's a quesadilla because it has so much meat. Again Asada for me. The service is amazing and the cucumber Lemonade is delish. They also take orders over the phone, and will have everything ready.“
“Serious Mexican food truck in Mac. Burritos are awesome and huge. One will easily feed two. Special sauces are mouthwatering. New location is great with indoor seating, a real bar, and cute shops. The people are super friendly and are trying to make it a destination. Check em out.“
“It's pretty good not amazing but good, I do have to say I love that the street tacos weren't greasy and that's a huge plus for me, the Mexican Street corn was a frozen corn, not on a cob super sad about that. This is a food truck, but they do sell beer. Nice little lunch for sure“
“Authentic, great tasting food. This is the real deal, so tasty I ordered another dinner to go, plus lunch for the next day, too. Nice place, like eating in your mom's kitchen, plus there's even a ice cream parlor attached next door that serves up some really good ice cream too.“
“Here's a positively enthusiastic review for Pura Vida Cocina: Oh my goodness, let me tell you about my amazing experience at Pura Vida Cocina! From the moment we walked in, it was like stepping into a culinary paradise right in the heart of town! First things first, let's talk about the food - oh mama mia, it was out of this world! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and authenticity, making our taste buds dance with joy! From the crispy Totopoes served with fresh chips, salsa, beans, and guacamole to the tantalizing Croquetas and mouthwatering Platano Maduro, every bite was a delicious adventure! And let's not forget about the wonderful staff! Despite our little mishap of accidentally coming in through the back door without a reservation, they couldn't have been more accommodating! They welcomed us with open arms and made us feel right at home, ensuring that our dining experience was nothing short of perfection. But wait, there's more! The menu at Pura Vida Cocina is a culinary delight, offering a wide array of delectable options from Enchiladas to Arepas to tantalize your taste buds! And don't even get me started on their incredible Pura Vida Tacos - three hand-made tortillas filled with your choice of filling, topped with shaved cabbage, cotija cheese, cilantro, radish, and chipotle aioli. It's a fiesta in every bite! And for dessert? Well, let's just say the Churros were the perfect sweet ending to an unforgettable meal! So, if you're looking for a dining experience that's not only delicious but also filled with warmth and hospitality, look no further than Pura Vida Cocina. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!“
“Mi Lindo Nayarit brought me back to the west coast of Mexico and made me so happy :) The best mariscos mexican restaurant in the area, hands down! Authentic aguachile and ceviche. The seafood was fresh and the salsas were perfectly spicy. The crispy shrimp taco was like taco gobanador which is our favorite. Servers were friendly and the atmosphere was fun. We will definitely be back for more! Gracias!“
“Ate here twice during our stay in Coco. The staff we so friendly and helpful. We both very much enjoyed our tacos. My favorite was the j*** chicken and my wife most enjoyed the blackened fish. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking to scratch their taco itch.“
“Seriously this place is the best in town. They’re back! Some familiar faces are back and making the best tacos in town. All of the meats on this menu are exceptional! The Adobada pork is our favorite, followed by the beef cheek, Lengua, and chorizo. Both tacos and burritos are fire.Highlights on the burrito are the well seasoned rice, avocado and onion. Not to big, not to small. The tortillas used are lighter and remind me of socal Mexican.Lastly all of the salsa here are excellent. Our favorite is the spicy which is Smokey and a dark red.Lunch specials are $9 for 3 tacos or a burrito with an aqua Fresca.Hours seem consistent however there have been a few occasion that the truck is MIA, I assume this is likely due to being sold out but I may be wrong.Really stoked to have this option in town. It’s #1 followed by the Super Hildago at #2 and # Los Gordos at #3“
“Came here for dinner after a long day of driving. Food was AMAZING. Yes, it costs a decent amount, though nothing unreasonable, but when you get your portions, you'll see it's absolutely worth it! The plates are HUGE. The margaritas are giant as well.Their deep fried ice cream was absolutely delicious too. Highly recommend. It wasn't just how they made it but the perfect spices on top, gave it the most amazing flavor. Highly recommend this place!“
“Met a couple of friends here for lunch so it was my first time at the restaurant. I don't come to McMinnville that often but after having lunch here today I'm definitely adding it to my list of places to eat when I'm in town. The restaurant is filled with bright bold colors and decorations that make you feel like you've taken a visit to Mexico itself. The chips and salsa they give you why you're waiting for your order was tasty and they refilled the chips when they got low. We all had the lunch specials which were both reasonably priced and filling. I had two chicken tacos with rice (I don't like refried beans) and my friends had two entrees with rice and beans. It was a pleasant dining experience that I would highly recommend to anyone who appreciates a great atmosphere and excellent Mexican food.Parking: Plenty of room and a number of spaces that have shade.“
“Friendly staff, pretty clean place, easy place to grab something to go. Food tastes healthy and authentic. I go there twice a week usually.Parking: Tons of opens spots usually, sometimes have to fight with drive thru cars for pulling into the streetWheelchair accessibility: Wide accommodating door, but door is very heavy, assistance would be recommended“
“Although we only ordered an appetizer, it was extremely delicious. A chicken quesadilla that actually stands out speaks volumes for the quality of food being served. The chips and salsa are delicious. The salsa is definitely fresh. The bartender Javier has a great personality and serves a decent drink. All of the staff is extremely friendly. The atmosphere is upbeat with great decorations and a fun setting. All drinks and dishes looked amazing“
“We love this place, go there often with school friends. They are great about accommodating large parties.Dietary restrictions: They will do anything you request.Parking: There's a back lot on the side of the building for additional parking.Kid-friendliness: They welcome our kiddos and treat them well.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs.“
