“Great news for dog owners! If you REALLY enjoy sharing a meal with your dog, Louie’s is your place. Last night, a dog at the indoor table next to ours was enjoying dinner from the same plate as it’s human! The human would have a bite, then the dog would lick a bite off the plate. When I asked our waiter about this uncommon situation, he replied that Louie’s prides itself on being very pet friendly. I then said, “The dog and the human are eating from the same plate at the table!” He replied, “That may be pushing it a little,” but took no action to discourage the happy dog and human.“

“All time favorite place to eat when we visit Destin. All you can eat crab legs and shrimp are well worth the price and absolutely delicious. The service is great. We were there on a Sat night, and it was jammed packed w/ wall to wall people. The wait staff and kitchen staff handled it very well. The live music is awesome. There were adults and kids in our group ranging in age from 9-19 & everyone from adults to kids enjoyed every minute of our visit from the food to the music“

“Fantastic experience. I could not believe the restaurant wasn’t packed, the food was delicious and the atmosphere perfect. It’s cozy and refined without being so dark that you need to use a flashlight to see the menu. The food is unique but not so strange that you have no idea what anything will taste like. It was so good I even ate my vegetables. Dessert the was the perfect balance of sweetness. I ordered the fries and the wagyu beef and the fries were some of the best I’ve had. I’m not even sure what they were seasoned with but I will be thinking about them every time I eat fries again in the future. The beef was incredible tender. The drink I had was well balanced, strong but with a good alcohol and correct mixes. So many restaurants have switched to bottom shelf liquor and lately I’ve been avoiding ordering a drink but was so happy I did. My server was amazing and helped me navigate the menu because everything sounded amazing. The real beauty of the restaurant isn’t just in the delicious food or the friendly staff but that everything was special, you can tell that the owners and chefs and servers all care about what they were doing. Truly a special experience.“

“We really enjoyed meeting up with local family and our SOU student here for dinner. The chopped salad was a hit, as well as the tuna melt and pulled pork sandwich. The highlight for me was the pumpkin curry soup, with depth of flavor and the perfect amount as a starter course. The service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere warm and inviting. Will definitely be back.“

“We stayed at the hotel so we came here often. Usually so the kids can have desserts, and the wife and i can have drinks while we play board games. Got diner here one night after a late outing. It was OK, served its purpose. Decently priced. The staff was very friendly. Let us hang out and finish our games even after they've closed up.“

“Great food and easy freeway access. Typical diner offerings. Hubs chose soup and actually had two bowls - he thought it was that good (cream of mushroom). Parking is super easy. The best part is that you don't have to drive through the busy town of Ashland to get to it.“

“The beers were so good! I had a hatch chili lager that was incredible! I wanted to buy some to take home! I had the wild Oregon mushroom fettuccine with salmon for dinner and it was very creamy and had great flavor! The salmon was cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was also really nice, they had hundreds of cool bottles on the walls!“

Absolute smash for meat lovers. I know my meat and I smoke it, but these guys nailed it. This is competition level meatery. We had the Porkstrami and let me tell you it was absolute perfection. Had a hardy smoke flavor with a solid consistent kick. A perfect blend of flavors and heat. Truly raised the bar. I shall return. Repeatedly.

The outdoor seating is simple and casual. Feels like my buddies backyard. Not to mention great beers on tap to match with the SAMMICH.“
