“The food is wholesome, fresh and simply prepared. Ingredients speak for themselves, nothing heavily processed. They don’t have many vegan options, but they had more than enough for a great meal. My server was hospitable and knowledgeable about vegan options.“

From the minute you step foot in the door, you can see from the memorabilia and the menu that this place has been around for a while, and it has its very own personality. Is it upscale? No. It is modern? Also no. But it speaks to who Big Al’s is in the community and what they serve to the people who come here. We live in Iowa, but when come to Ashland, we always pop in for lunch. This time, I had two ground beef tacos which came with refried beans and rice. My husband had a regular burger. Both items were very good, served hot by friendly people and we left full and enjoyed our time there. Again, we’ll be back when we’re in Oregon next year.“

The pizza and other food Were Delicious! there was arcade games and pool for the kids to run around and play. it was like eating at home with the whole family the owner even gave my kids some coin to play out of his own pocket! so thankful definitely go there with your family“

“We stayed at the hotel so we came here often. Usually so the kids can have desserts, and the wife and i can have drinks while we play board games. Got diner here one night after a late outing. It was OK, served its purpose. Decently priced. The staff was very friendly. Let us hang out and finish our games even after they've closed up.“
