Our family’s favorite restaurant in the area. The salmon and vegetables on the children’s menu assures my children get a healthy meal out!
Wonderful food and staff. Be sure to get the clams and mussels chowder!
It is reassuring to have reservations and know that we will be seated and when. The atmosphere is comfortable with piano music that adds to the atmosphere. The main dishes are not served in oversized portions which is fantastic and leaves room to enjoy the starter plates and dessert. Have loved our experiences and look forward to the next one.

Bridgewater Bistro offers an exceptional dining experience with excellent food combinations and a beautifully designed space that reflects a modern maritime style. The restaurant features incredible views of the Columbia River and the Astoria Megler Bridge, enhancing its inviting atmosphere. Guests can enjoy a variety of dishes, including the flavorful pork chop with an amazing sauce and the perfectly seasoned salmon. The clam chowder is different from others but incredibly good, while the homemade bread basket is a must-try. Although the clam pasta may disappoint some, the Hungarian mushroom soup and outstanding bouillabaisse have received high praise for their flavor and use of local seafood. The presentation of the meals is unique and beautiful, and the service is great, with staff providing timely attention without being overly attentive. Desserts, especially the peach cobbler and the unique dungeness cheesecake, are wonderful. The bistro also boasts a well-curated wine list, though the wine markup can be high. Guests can enjoy excellent cocktails and good house wines, making it a perfect place for dinner with friends, especially while enjoying live music on the coast.
