In reading a couple of the reviews, I don't understand why someone would complain about the things they make up in their minds. First, a reviewer commented about political signs in the restaurant. I didn't see anything pertaining to politics. If they think supporting other individuals and not discriminating is political, please get educated. Secondly, to the person who complained about the huevos rancheros, this is not a Mexican restaurant. If you want authentic Mexican food then please go eat at a Mexican restaurant. Okay rant done 😁“

“I love sushi avenue it is my favorite place for sushi!

The food: The hurricane roll is my favorite and they even let me order it without being fried although it's absolutely delicious either way. Please note they are very accommodating just explain if you want something changed up save on the side, extra sauce , no cucumber ect. Just adk. Two other rolls I like are the Canby and wilsonville.. really it comes down to what you like their fish is good! Also bonus if you have someone who doesn't like sushi they have a really good dish called creamy chicken yaki udon noodles and is so yummy! It's thick udon noodles and chicken in a creamy sauce with vegetables: cabbage, onions, broccoli and mushroom (I might be missing a vegetable or two). They also have teriyaki chicken and other non sushi options! They do have a kids menu they have the options of sushi or bento with chicken teriyaki. Kind if limited options for kiddos.

The restaurant: One thing I will say is that the entrance area is pretty small, but dine in is usually doable, and of course you can always get it to go. It's in a strip mall and is just a small business nothing fancy here but delicious food!! Easy parking they do have a parking lot. 😊

The service: It is great! Nice staff and reasonable wait time. You will not find your water glass empty here! Also they are very kind if you want a roll made a certain way they are so kind and accommodating!

Spicy tuna rolls, ninja rolls without the jalepenos, spider rolls, and yellowtail rolls are top choices. Happy hour is happy for eating more. There are 6 tables and chairs for the audience. There was a counter table, but only a few people could sit there as luggage was placed there. However, all meals are provided as take-out? and eaten at the table.

In addition I’d also recommend asking to have the bacon on your sandwich not be a bunch of small pieces where some are dark and crispy and some are barely cooked & chewy. I’d been looking forward to my sandwich & sweet potato fries for 2 days prior & was extremely disappointed that the fries tasted awful & the bacon was cooked unevenly. I’ve had meals there in the past that have been tasty, which is why we went back. Eating out is not cheap & if I’m going to spend $$ patronizing this restaurant, I’d like my food to taste good.“

They don't serve food (other than small bags of chips & I think free popcorn) but they allow outside food which is a plus!! We drive from Beaverton to Canby just so I can get my cider fix occasionally. Last weekend we went to a Disco event there, it was fun although I'm pretty sure everyone knew each other besides the two of us lol.“

“I was stuck in traffic and called in an order suddenly then the traffic cleared up, causing me to show up faster than I thought to pick up my pizza. When I walked into the store it was clean and not crowded. But as I stood there my back went out and I had to sit on a hard bench and wasn't sure if I would be able to get my pizza into my car. One of the gals offered to help take my pizza to my car. I really appreciate the service of the one girl. The manager seemed a little on edge that day but everyone was kind. “After googling multiple East Asia restaurants to dine at the winner was Tasty Teriyaki!

When walking in I immediately felt a warm homey vibe!

I was greeted and ordered within seconds upon walking in.

Today I ordered:
(Appetizer)
Spring Rolls
Fried vegetable spring rolls with a side of sweet and sour sauce.
Four come in the order and they are cooked to perfection, flakey yet the perfect crunch!

(Main Dish)
Tofu Teriyaki
Stir-fried tofu in teriyaki sauce with two scoops of rice and salad!
The portion size is definitely worth every penny!
The tofu was cooked to perfection as well as the rice and cabbage blend.

My pallet was shocked at how each entree complimented the other.

The service was amazing as well as the food!

It was exceptionally clean as well as a peaceful and homie place to eat!

When I come back through the area I will for sure be stopping in to have another meal here!
