“Everything about this restaurant is exactly what I would expect out of a Southern Chinese restaurant. The overall quality is on par with restaurants in Southeast Portland (an area with a larger Chinese community), which is very nice for me as a resident of Beaverton. I've had great moments talking with staff, family, and friends here (admittedly all in Chinese), and I think this is a great environment. Would definitely recommend this place if you want a good Chinese meal, with an open enough space to socialize with your guests.“
“OMG, this place was amazing. We went at lunchtime on Presidents Day, so I thought it was a little odd that the lunch specials were not available. That was okay, because the food was so fantastic. Wife had the basil chicken which was one of the best Chinese dishes ever. I had the Lamb with Green Onion, which was good, but I'd try something else next time. I rarely see Lamb on a Chinese menu, so I had to try it. We split some green the green tea. The service was fast and friendly, as were some patrons. A couple guys walked by and asked about the b=Basil Chicken, so we told them it was a must! Huge open space that is unexpected given the outside of the historic Louis Building, built in 1885. We are going back!!“
“The service was too notch, atmosphere and food was just a step below. While I have no complaints and everything was good, it didn't blow my mind with oh-my-goodness amazing. I've had better for a lower price point but I guess you have to place a premium on quality service. All in all I would come back for good food and great service.Update: Just to be clear, the food was great... I guess maybe portion size could be bigger? You guys did nothing wrong.“
“We were there twice recently, one on March 2 and the other March 22. The first time was quite satisfying. Even though this restaurant was a relatively new addition to the mall, the food and service were on par with other locations such as Seattle, Bellevue and La Jolla. However, our later visit, with a 2x larger table than the first visit, seemed to show a service issue. The staff placed the ordered dishes wherever they wanted, which, at other DTF, they would ask where to place the dish on the table by asking the customers first. This caused unnecessary dish-passing immediately after an order was delivered. There was ample walking space surrounding our table, i.e., we were not in the side booth or window/corner tables. Food was consistently fantastic as high standard held by DTF.Kid-friendliness: Nice kid set“
“Nice atmosphere with good views of the river and fast service despite it being fairly busy. The soup dumplings were good, not the best I've ever had, but so far the best I've had in Portland. Oh, and the cucumber salad is the bomb!“
“Hello everyone,My mom had her birthday 2 weeks ago, and she picked out this place to have a celebration dinner with me and a family friend. The servers did an amazing job and were very kind and pleasant. The atmosphere and esthetic were amazing, complete with very mellow music in the background. The food was to die for. I recommend this place to anyone who is craving Chinese sea food cuisine. Will totally come back again and bring a friend.Sincerely, a happy customer.??“
“Generally Chinese restaurant. They are ok. I like a Thai bubble tea. My son said Orange chicken is good, Tonkotsu ramen and vegetables noodles soup are okay. My Fung pao chicken is an average. But crews are kind and generous. I like they have vegan options.“
“The food is always awesome! When we go here we don't hold back. We order whatever sounds good with no fear of leftovers. Everything is too delicious to wanna order just a couple things.Service is fine but it was confusing when we arrived, there was a line out the door and while I waited in a line to ask the host of there was a wait list for tables people just walked on past me and signed in even though we were already waiting. When I got the text our table was ready I waited in line again and when I reached the host station the person there did not want to make eye contact or speak with me. I waited patiently and then finally they asked what I wanted, I replied I got a text that our table was ready and they said the host would be along shortly.Table service was efficient, but maybe a little too fast at first, then slow when you're finishing. I was glad we got a small 2 person table. But then we ended up between 2 baby tables, and one baby launched 2 of the restaurants pens at us in-between screaming. T-TThank goodness for 2nd baby who was quiet and distracted the 1st baby from screaming for at least a little while. Both locations I've been to of Dough Zone suffer in the atmosphere dept. There is always quite the cacophony. The acoustics are rough. You can hardly hold a conversation. It was easier with just 2 people but when we had a group of 5 at either location, none of us could really hear one another. Made dinner awkward. We may consider ordering takeout or something from this restaurant in the future.“
