Chinatown Restaurant is a popular dining spot in Beaverton known for its delicious dishes and great value. It offers a large menu with many tasty options, making it a great choice whether dining in or getting takeout. The food is often described as very good, with favorites like pork fried rice, BBQ pork, S&S chicken, and dim sum. Guests appreciate the ability to substitute items and enjoy quick service, with meals often ready in less than 10 minutes. The dim sum is especially praised, with many visitors making special trips just to enjoy it, sometimes buying enough to take home. The restaurant features a spacious dining room and a unique ordering process where customers check off their choices on a sheet instead of choosing from carts. The flavors tend to be more Americanized, but the quality remains high. The staff is friendly and attentive, although some note that service can be slightly understaffed at times. Overall, Chinatown Restaurant is considered a hidden gem in the area, well worth a visit for its tasty food, friendly service, and welcoming atmosphere.
