“Kudos to the employees at the Aloha Costco today!! Unexpectedly all registers went down! They immediately informed everyone and had all hands on deck to put back frozen foods or allow people to leave their carts and they worked quickly to restock items so they wouldn’t spoil. And the IT department had all registers fixed in about 30 minutes. As soon as they were back online, they got every single register open immediately. It was a bit of an inconvenience for sure but they showed excellent customer service throughout a very difficult situation - thank you!“

“If you're searching for the best Haitian restaurant in Portland, look no further than Tap Tap. This vibrant spot isn’t just about incredible Haitian cuisine — it’s a full cultural experience that blends delicious food, stunning Haitian artwork, and energetic nightlife. This is easily one of the best Black-owned restaurants in Portland that offers an authentic taste of Haiti’s rich heritage right in the heart of the city.
From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by colorful, eye-catching Haitian art that sets a unique, welcoming atmosphere. The menu features traditional Haitian dishes crafted with fresh ingredients and bold flavors, making it a top choice for foodies like myself who are seeking something different and unforgettable.
What truly sets Tap Tap apart is its lively nightlife, especially the Kompa Haitian dancing nights. This energetic music and dance scene invites guests to immerse themselves in Haitian culture while enjoying great food and drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic). Whether you’re out for dinner, a night of dancing, or both, Tap Tap is the best place to experience Haitian culture in Portland.
For anyone looking to support Black-owned businesses while enjoying exceptional food and an unforgettable cultural vibe, Tap Tap is hands down the best restaurant in Portland for a genuine Haitian experience.“

“This was my first time in Portland and I had heard about the phenomenal food truck culture in the city. This one was my absolute favorite of them all!
Kafta house is a “Mom & Pop” owned food truck offering middle eastern/Mediterranean cuisine. The owners are very warm people and treat their customers like family who have come over for dinner.
I had the lamb gyros with fries. The lamb meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned tastefully, as were the fries. I’ve eaten many gyros in my life, but have to say this one was my favorite.
The cardamom chai was the perfect ending to a great meal. Thank you to the owners for the most memorable dining experience during my stay in Portland! I wish this food truck existed in the city where I live. I will stop by again if I come back to Portland.“

“Loved the convenience and it was nice that they have a little bar with happy hour. The pad Thai from Little Thai Peacock was delicious. I was disappointed with the shrimp dumplings from Shanghai’s best plus the server was extremely rude to me.“

“This is our favorite food truck area. My partner and I both love Mole Mole, especially. So many options for vegans! Also, the price/value of portions at all places we’ve tried is great. Lots of seating but it gets very busy at typical meal times.“

“Wow! Honestly, best tacos we’ve had in PDX. Great service and fresh ingredients. We had the taco plate, with asada - the asada was crispy and flavorful. The tortillas were handmade! Rice and beans were good as well. We also tried the tacos dorados with potato. They were nice and warm, crunchy, everything was just great!!!“

“Great selection of food from the resident food trucks and a great rotating tap list at the bar. Perfect spot for a quick bite to eat and beverage prior to heading to the the Moda Center. Bonus: Order from the bar and any or all of the food trucks from your phone through their great online ordering system! Very convenient and didn't have to wait in a single line. 😀“

“Man it’s awesome to have a great Hawaiian cart in the area again. I especially appreciate the indo-Asian dishes like the kimchi fried rice. Those cucumbers, I’m afraid to order the large size because I think I would eat them all in one sitting. The Hawaiian fare (shoyu chicken, kalua pork, Mac salad etc) is all spot on too, or I wouldn’t be writing this. Wish it was open more hours…but good enough that we work around that.
Parking: Small lot on the actual property. Street parking in the neighborhood or ride your bike in warmer months.
Wheelchair accessibility: The cart pod has a ADA spot and is accessible“

“Little Bloom Lao & Thai is hands down one of my favorite thai spots in Portland! The owner is the sweetest; you can feel the love and passion in the food. Everything I’ve had tastes so good! My go to dish is the Pad Kee Mao & it pairs perfectly with the thai iced tea! You must come try! 💞“

“One of the best food trucks I’ve ever visited!
The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. You can really taste the quality in every bite. The service was outstanding too — friendly, quick, and welcoming. Even though it’s a food truck, the setup and vibe made it feel like a great place to enjoy a relaxed lunch.
I stopped by for lunch and was genuinely impressed. Definitely a must-try if you’re into Mediterranean or halal food. Great value for the price as well — highly recommended!“
“We like all the food there trying sometime“

“So far I've eaten at 3 out of 6 of the carts here (I'm including the Pour House in the count even though it's a bar).
Rollin' Fresh - Very good sushi with a twist (burrito style!)
Bajala - Excellent tacos, very fresh, with lots of flavor. (Separate review on their google maps entry)
Village Kitchen - so far my favorite Burmese food in the Northwest district and there something like 4 other Burmese restaurants.
I'll get to the rest soon enough.“

“A few food trucks, but not as much variety as I had hoped. Some trucks offer the same type of food. We enjoyed the food, even though the fries were undercooked. Greek, Indian, Italian, and Mexican cuisine available, along with a sushi truck.“
“This place is so cool! You're just strolling along, minding your own business when suddenly BAM! Food! It's an entire block of different ethnic food. Mostly Mediterranean, but plenty of other places too. Gyros, shawarma, Mexican, cajun and more, all wrapped around an empty parking lot. Come hungry!“

“I was seriously craving ramen, and I found a vegan one so of course I had to try it! 🙌 It was loaded with garlic 🧄😂 so maybe not the best choice if you have plans with someone after.😂 But honestly, it was really good! A little oily, but as a Japanese person I was totally satisfied. The portion size was just right too.😆“

“The guy serving up food at around 11:45-12:30 ish on 12/14/23 was amazing. Total beast mode lol got my food and drink to me quickly and when the coffee exploded on him he didn't even flinch just made another one real quick. I'd say he belted out around 5-6 orders in under 2 minutes. GIVE THIS GUY A RAISE!!!!!!!!
Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheel chair accessible but the CUSTOMERS are extremely rude and inconsiderate. Try to avoid going during peak hours. In my experience people who shop there don't pay attention and they will run you right over with a fully loaded Costco shopping cart and not bat an eye. Wheelchair or not.“

“I make better biryani at home. Do you taste your food? Your Tikka masala has more masala then your biryani. I don't like leaving 1 star because I know you can do better. Order a biryani from Apna bhavan in beaverton and you'll know what a good one tastes like.“
