“Absolutely loved this place. We recommend the hotdogs, chicken bulgogi (has some rice cakes), and soy garlic fried chicken. The customer service is excellent and let us use the restroom after closing. Great customer service, great food, and loved the vibes. Highly recommended for everyone“

“Easily one of the very best Korean restaurants in the greater Portland area. Superb, generous, tasty banchan. Fabulous Korean pancakes-always order the kimchj and green onion cakes! Scrumtuous! Great classic Korean dishes, super-tasty marinated beef salade. Whole menu is worth careful investigation. So go already!“

“First time here tonight for my mom’s birthday/ this place is so good, we are going to make it our go to place for Korean bbq from now on! First reason we love this place is because we finally found a Korean bbq place that’s not all you can eat! We have small children and elderly parents who don’t eat a lot- so it’s a huge plus. Second one is this place feels super new and clean , even the bathrooms were clean and smell good. Last but not least, staff were super friendly - everyone who served us was really nice and kind. Their side dishes were really generous and they offered to replenish more than once. Price was more than reasonable. Yes we are definitely coming back!“

“We can’t wait to go back and try more. I almost didn’t even want to write this review because I want this place to remain a hidden gem but it’s too good not to spread the word.
Hidden upstairs in a Korean grocery store, the food was authentic and the atmosphere too. We arrived at 8:10pm on a Friday and the lady made an exception for us as the kitchen closed at 8, although the restaurant stays open till 9. We recommend coming before then.
We tried the bulgogi, the chicken bulgogi, and a kimchi pancake without the pork. Before the food came out, they brought us banchan which we devoured. It was a collection of kimchi, fish cakes, potatoes in sweet soy sauce, pickles radishes, pickles, and broccoli. The kimchi was so good that we asked for more. We couldn’t stop eating everything when it arrived—definitely come here super hungry.
The chicken had a very smokey flavor to it, just a bit of a heads up. I wasn’t expecting that and although it was delicious, it’s not a taste I’m very used to.
We can’t wait to come back and try more. Plus the grocery store had some fascinating items that we want to check out, too.
Also, the sweetest older women were waiting on our tables and ran the house. They were very kind and diligent.“

“The shop is small but the food is amazing! Best tteokbokki I've had hands down and their bugolgi is to die for! (pics are of the half eaten dishes, they looked prettier before we dug in lol) The staff is also very friendly and helpful. 10/10“

“The service was amazing! Huge shoutout to the woman working today at 1pm. She was so sweet and was able to balance everything very well. The food was great too! Good portions for a good price. This was my first time. I will definitely come back.“

“The food is delicious. We had the salmon bento and the short rib bento and both were delicious. The bento consists of two battered fry shrimp, two dumplings, salad, rice and the main course. The restaurant is in a strip mall and there’s not a lot of ambiance for dining in, but it’s pretty obvious the money is going to food quality. There were quite a few customers there when we ordered, and so we asked if we could come back in 15 - 20 minutes and had a pint at Peppermill Pub in the meantime. Kings is the healthy option to the various fast food around it. It looked as if there were only two people running the place, the cashier and the cook. Kudos to them for doing a stellar job.“

“The best Korean food I've had in the Beaverton area. I've tried many and this place is far superior to all of them. The banchan were super flavorful and every dish we ordered was enjoyed by the whole table. Highly recommend the spicy marinated crab and the kimchi stew. The server is also extremely friendly and helpful, she really contributed to our lovely experience“

“Ordered the Pork Jjajang myun (best in Portland so far that I’ve tasted) and Seafood Jjambong although a bit spicy. Don’t let the restaurant name and exterior fool you. It’s authentic!“

“Small place with absolutely delicious food. Good portions for what you pay. The young lady working the counter was super cheerful and kind. Will return!
Kid-friendliness: My daughter was with me (9 years old at the time) and loved it.
Wheelchair accessibility: Doesn't have an automatic door that I noticed, but it is on the first floor and the door is wide enough to handle a wheelchair. The counter and several tables are lower to the ground, so the whole thing overall is pretty accessible as long the person in the wheelchair can handle opening the door.“

“I pass by here all the time but decided to try it today. I got coffee with boba and a donut and it was $10. Their donut flavors are super interesting, I got Reese's cheesecake and it was great. I like that the donut wasn't iced AND frosted so it wasn't too sweet, the perfect amount of chewy.
I see some reviews about the service but the guy at the counter was polite and prompt, no complaints at all. They also have Korean style corn dogs I want to try next time, I'll definitely be back!“

“By far and away, my most favorite eatery in Portland. Fried rice spam bowl is my favorite!! But their Kahlua pig and Shoyu chicken are top notch too. Friendly staff, and safe space. Mahalo Plenty.“

“I am addicted to the Dan Dan Noodles. Specifically Frank's Dan Dan Noodles. Seving is not overly generous, you will not take any home. But they are definitely delicious to the very last bite. Leaving you to wonder when you will return. They are that good. Springy, toothsome noodles topped with a meat sauce that is savory in the beat possible way. Service is attentive without being in the way. Bathroom was clean. Seating is comfortable, not fancy at all. You are here for the Noodles! Don't forget about the handmade dumplings 😋“
