“I go here about every 4 or 5 months with my gma and have for many years. We only get the Poke bowls as theyre her favorite. Though they were better 7 years ago, that isnt rly that big of a deal for me compared to how hard it seems to get thru a line if there is one present. I tend to find myself limiting my changes to 0 between me and my gmas bowls just to ensure a line doesnt form. The process takes significantly longer than something like subway, and the other items are overpriced. But for a small Poke bowl I guess there arent rly cheap options outside a quality belt sushi style restaurant.“

“Yes. This place is good. I got the “spicy chicken strips.” They were beautifully fried and crisp. I like my heat and they were not spicy. Still an enjoyable texture, however.
Their side tenders came with pickled radish which was refreshing and not too sweet.
Their side of kimchi mac was a star. Slightly spicy and tasty.
I think when I come again, I want to try their curry mash as that’s suppose to be unique as well.
The pricing was reasonable.“

“Love the concept. Wood fired meats. Korean BBQ fusion. All in a beautiful space.
We sat at the counter with the heat from the fire warming our faces and watched the cooks crank out dish after dish.
I know there's some debate about value, but I gotta say we ended up with at least two meals because we couldn't finish everything we ordered and took home enough for another quality meal at home.“

“A fried chicken sando… that instantly lets you know what you have been missing in life!
It’s not for a picky eater! This sando is for people who love food, and are okay with things as it comes!
The guy was SUPER SUPER NICE! Huge smile and friendly.
Thank you for the amazing food and service!“

“Food is amazing! I got 3 tacos - spicy pork, bulgogi beef, and teriyaki chicken. All were delicious, but the spicy pork and bulgogi beef were my favorites. Would definitely recommend and stop here again when visiting Portland!“

“Freshly-prepared dishes, large menu with plenty of variety, great portion sizes. On the pricier side for fresh/fast Korean at about $17-20.per dish. We ordered 4 things to share, a side of rice, and two Cokes which came to $85 and change, including tip.
I really enjoyed the Korean-style deep fried whole chicken, which was smaller than the average hen you get at the market. This was closer to the size of a very large Cornish game hen, and perfectly cooked with the lightest, crispiest crunch on the exterior. It didn't come with rice, so I ordered a side. It does come with a nice pickled radish, a dressed, shredded cabbage slaw, and two enhancements: fine salt/pepper blend, and a sweet, spicy chile sauce. I'll definitely be back for this chicken again. Delicious. 5/5
My friend ordered the pork katsu with cheese over steamed rice, which came with slaw and mac salad. I thought this just ok. The batter was a little thick and, although everything was served hot, biting into the pork was a bit tough as it was on the chewy side. It might have been re-fried after being prepared earlier. This is usually fine, if done properly. The cheese was generous and good. A little salt and a spot of Katsu sauce was the perfect complement. 3/5
We also shared the Rose Toekkbokki, which comes with soft, chewy rice cakes, fish cake strips, thinly-sliced hot dog, tofu squares, green onion, and a weird addition a small amount of iceburg lettuce-I removed it because it was wilted and added nothing. Oh, and a hard-boiled egg (it was chalky, unfortunately.) The sauce was creamy and mild, with the tiniest hint of heat from the gochujong. It was good, but I've had better versions of this dish, including my own. Worth a try if you've never had toekkbokki before. 3/5
Finally, I ordered the japchae with thinly sliced beef and cabbage to go. Although there wasn't much protein, the noodles were flavorful and prepared well. I love japchae, so I'll enjoy this with an egg and some smokey beef rib at home later. 4/5
The atmosphere was cozy on a rainy day in the PNW. It felt like a home kitchen. Service was fair. Our server greeted us immediately, and we were seated with water right away. She gave us plenty of time to decide, and then quickly took our orders. There was only one server(also the hostess) who appeared to be a little overwhelmed, but that's to be expected pretty much anywhere these days. It felt like a mom and pop restaurant with their daughter doing the greet, seat, and table service, including bussing. Despite the hefty price tag for lunch, I made sure to tip well.
I'd like to visit again and try some other dishes, but price is a factor. That said, this might be a better place for a group of 4 or 6 people. That way, everyone can pitch in and try different dishes, which makes it fun and more affordable.“

“The food was great and came out fast. Very mild on the spice level. The atmosphere is exactly what you would expect from a restaurant above the grocery store. Pictures of food on the wall, order by number but you don't come to a place like this for atmosphere. My only complaint was the service. Felt very dismissive and had to ask directly four times for a refill on water. They were slammed which is why I'm only taking off one star for service. Definitely check it out.“

“I cannot stress enough how much I love this place.
The food is fantastic. I have never had an issue with them not paying attention to special instructions. The shop itself is so so cute and cozy.
I hope this place never goes away. 🥹“

“Located inside Niki's cafe inside a business building. Made fresh to order, we tried the bulgogi, ham, and mushroom and avocado ones and they were all delicious, especially the mushroom and avocado one. Waaaay better than Hmart. Great portion sizes for the price too.“

“My friend took me here, because he said it’s the real deal. When I walked in, the environment was extremely welcoming and warm. I’ve been not eating meat for a long time, but the hot stone bibim box looked so good I gave in and ordered it. It came out extremely fast right after all the side dishes. It was steaming hot and to die for.“

“We had an absolutely fantastic meal at JCD Korean BBQ! From the moment we sat down, the service was warm, welcoming, and attentive. The staff was happy to answer questions and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal.
The food was outstanding. The banchan just kept coming, and every side dish was fresh and flavorful. We loved the BBQ, the soups, and even tried soju for the first time, which made the experience even more fun. Everything tasted fresh, was beautifully prepared, and arrived quickly.
If you’re looking for authentic Korean BBQ with generous portions, excellent quality, and genuinely friendly service, JCD is an easy 5 stars. We’ll definitely be back!“

“I stopped by this restaurant while traveling from Los Angeles to Seattle. Coming from LA, I have very high standards when it comes to Korean food, so I didn't expect much at first. But wow—I was pleasantly surprised.
The quality of the food exceeded my expectations, and that's a huge compliment coming from someone who lives in Los Angeles, where great Korean food is everywhere. The portions were also very generous. I'm a pretty big guy, but I still had to ask for a to-go box because I couldn't finish everything.
The waiter, a tall Korean gentleman, was friendly and professional. He struck the perfect balance—attentive without being overly friendly, which I appreciated.
I will definitely be stopping here again on my way back to LA next month. Highly recommended.“

“Great mix of flavors. I like getting well priced meals that are both satisfying and somewhat healthy. The meats and vegetables always taste fresh, and the service is good. For my money, Koi Fusion is the best thing that has happened yet for the Wilsonville restaurant scene. We need some more innovators like Bo Kwon around here.“

“The best Korean food I've had in the Beaverton area. I've tried many and this place is far superior to all of them. The banchan were super flavorful and every dish we ordered was enjoyed by the whole table. Highly recommend the spicy marinated crab and the kimchi stew. The server is also extremely friendly and helpful, she really contributed to our lovely experience“

“Ate lunch there yesterday (Valentine's Day) with my wife and our little girls. Staff was extremely welcoming and patient, and made the kids feel right at home. Food was made at a very reasonable pace - and it was utterly amazing. We had the pork bulgogi, the sampler plate, and orange chicken with gyoza for the kids.
Going here is a must!“

“My daughter and I tried their corn dogs, she got the original and I got the crispy, I have to say I really enjoyed it. Good beef sausage and mozzarella cheese stacked inside of a hand dipped planko honey batter. Yumm. My daughter said she wasn’t hungry but she sure ate the entire thing. Try it for yourself and you be the judge.“

“OMG This place is da bomb! My wife, MIL and I ate there for the first time recently. At first I was a little concerned because my MIL wanted to order traditional Korean BBQ (which isn't what this place is about). However, after ordering and tasting the Nagasaki JJamppong, the Fried chicken (we got half soy, and half spicy), the kimchee fried rice and the Rose TTeokbokki, (plus the cucumber pickles) we were all blown away by how delicious everything was! The only possible downside is that I wish there were more tables. But then again if it was much larger maybe the chef wouldn't be able to spend as much time on each order so maybe it is perfect the way it is. I almost don't want to write this review because then I might have to wait longer the next time I go, but a great restaurant deserves to be acknowledged for what it is!“

“I got my food to go. I’d never been here before. The host that was going to seat me was super friendly, took me over to the take-out kiosk, showed me how to use it, and explained items on the menu. I ordered one of his suggestions and it was incredible! I’m so glad I went with his suggestion. I made my order, paid for it on the kiosk, and about 10 minutes later, the host brought my meal. Super friendly service! Very quick service. And delicious food. Try this place out. It is great!“

“I recently visited Fomo Chicken, and I'm happy to say that the food has really improved over the years. The soy garlic fried chicken I had was delicious, and I appreciated the amount food I got for my money. While the customer service was okay, it was the food that stole the show. The flavor of the fried chicken was spot on, and it's clear that they've made strides in providing a better dining experience. If you're a fan of soy garlic fried chicken, this place is definitely worth a visit. Overall, a tasty and satisfying meal!“

“First time trying & don't know what took me so long. I'm a big fan of Katsu Chicken but rarely order it especially if done with chicken breast. It's rare to find chicken breast not overly dry so avoid ordering it. They told me they use thigh meat for all their dishes so went with it. This was wonderful, cooked to perfection, & a huge amount of food. I will be eating on it for two days. The place was super clean & put the food out quickly. I can't wait to try some of their other dishes.“

“I’m 33 and I have been coming here since I was in high school (St. Mary’s alums will understand), and the owner always recognizes me and still remembers my order to this day even though I have gone months and even years in between visits sometimes. She is so sweet and prepares the food with care; I usually get the veggie yakisoba and I’ve never been disappointed. Their peanut sauce is my favorite. Their food is still reasonably priced, so definitely tip if you’re able!
It’s a smallish spot with not a ton of indoor seating, but I always get my food to go anyway. Parking can sometimes be a little tricky during peak traffic, but if you’re willing to walk a block or two you should be fine.“

“Genuinely one of the best teriyaki meals I’ve had in the local area! Their portion sizes are very generous and tastes are amazing, with old school prices like 2015. The ribeye teriyaki is my personal favorite. Their kimchi is also fresh, perfectly seasoned, and only $1.50 for a medium sized cup, I am not sure if they make it in house but they could fool me that they do. I can also say their chili sauce that they send home is great too, most places keep it simple with sriracha, but their chili has the perfect heat and sweetness!
We also tried their egg rolls and pot stickers and they’re crispy and flavorful. Would really recommend coming here for a quick meal, their lunch special is especially affordable. Our family has been coming here for over 15 years!“
