Food looked interesting at first until I tasted the authentic spicy I haven’t found in other Mexican restaurants. It was delicious. I went on my birthday and they kept wishing me happy birthday. Really friendly workers at this restaurant. And it was packed in the middle of the week so you know it’s good.
Update: March 12, 2024. It is with enormous sadness that I post this update. New ownership has turned Pepitas which was at one time a fun, enjoyable and tasty experience! To date, the food and service are a complete mess. A debauchery of confusion!, Terrible food and lack luster service doesn't even hold a candle to the owner whom is a three year old temper tantrum lite boy, very controlling and incredibly sensitive to feedback. Overall, I used to go here a lot. The restaurant recently came under new management, and the service has gone downhill ever since. I gave four stars for the past. I would give 3 for the present.
