“Ray and I stopped here on our way to Coos Bay while visiting friends and honestly didn’t plan it—we just happened to park right in front of Pacific Sushi & Grill. We’re so glad we did.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt comfortable and welcoming. We sat at the sushi bar, which made the experience even better. I ordered a spicy roll, an Nami roll, and a scallop roll, and Ray had a spicy tuna roll along with a few other items. Everything was fresh, well prepared, and absolutely delicious.

The sushi was excellent—flavorful, well balanced, and clearly made with care. If we lived in the area, this would definitely be a regular spot for us. Such a great find in Brookings and well worth stopping in.”

She is new to the area, but so kind and sweet, and really made my experience one to remember. Excellent customer service skills, always on top of everything including drink refills, and was so personable. We left her a huge tip, and I recommend you do so too, she deserves it for being such a hard worker! The food was also incredible. I got the chicken fettuccine Alfredo, very rich and has a great made from scratch taste ! I really enjoyed the dish and the restaurant in general ! Would recommend and I would definitely come back again ! I included photos of my food and the menu !”

“We just moved to Crescent City not too long ago and the options for vegans are slim. While we were in Brookings yesterday I ordered the Vachos and the veggie wrap to take home for dinner! my goodness the best food I have had in a long time! The lady that helped me was super kind and helpful! She shared my enthusiasm with that vegan cheese! The rest of the day I annoyed my husband with how much I love that food! I can't wait to come back!”

“First of all, I think this place makes the best kombucha I’ve ever had (besides what you can make at home). They are beyond personable and make you feel welcome. The food cart is great. The inside and outdoor ambiance is charming. My only wish is that we were there during an event or in the summer!”

“The best little coffee shop hands down! Coffee is locally roasted and the variety of drinks is amazing. Fully customizable drinks that range from coffees to smoothies and the Booster, a great pick me up if someone isn't in the mood for Java. Near the port and other shops so you can grab a drink, maybe a pastry, and enjoy the coast!”

“Cute place with local vibe. We got vats of clam chowder to bring home for Christmas Eve family dinner in Humboldt county. Reheated in cricket pot, served with sourdough. Everyone raved & leftovers quickly eaten as well!”

“Really good food. I would call this a ghost kitchen. There is a small space to order but you can’t eat here. They do have a bar upstairs you can eat in, but most be 21 or older. We had kids with us, but wanted to go anyway so it worked out well. We got sandwiches and they good size portions and yummy!”

“Was here for dinner when they opened at 4 pm. Come early. They fill up. Menu is delightful and hard to choose what you want. I had the shrimp with mango salsa and bacon over grits. The bacon was a little salty for me but taste blended really well with the mangos. Shrimp was Devine. I love grits and to tell the truth I could have made a meal of just grits they were so good. Definitely will be back next trip. I do wish they would add tiramisu for a desert choice. We had the chocolate mousse It was wonder like eating a truffle.”

“Can we all say Steamer clams. YUM!! It's by far the best I have had in a 400 miles radius. I have had them at many places and none compare to the Catalyst. The flavor is on point, that sausage really tops it off. I will always get the steamers. Also the Coastal Lemonade drink is awesome 👌. Their fresh oysters are great too when served on the half shell, not a fan of the ones served in a plastic cup. Just doesnt feel right. Happy to see they are serving their drinks in glasses now, not plastic cups. I highly suggest checking this spot out. They offer out door seating which is great on a sunny day. 🌞 customer service has always been good.”

“My husband and I got the fajitas tonight and they were amazing! Perfectly cooked chicken and veggies, sautéed in a flavorful seasoning! Perfection!
It was so much food and I could only eat about half of it.
Highly recommend coming here. The food does not disappoint!”

“Great food for the price. Full plates and freshly cooked food. Our server was polite, friendly, and quick. We had the 3 shredded beef tacos with rice and beans, and a cheeseburger and fries- the food was delicious and very filling. The decor was beautiful and comfortable. The restaurant is spacious and A.D.A. compliant , with lots of room to maneuver.”
