She is new to the area, but so kind and sweet, and really made my experience one to remember. Excellent customer service skills, always on top of everything including drink refills, and was so personable. We left her a huge tip, and I recommend you do so too, she deserves it for being such a hard worker! The food was also incredible. I got the chicken fettuccine Alfredo, very rich and has a great made from scratch taste ! I really enjoyed the dish and the restaurant in general ! Would recommend and I would definitely come back again ! I included photos of my food and the menu !”

“We just moved to Crescent City not too long ago and the options for vegans are slim. While we were in Brookings yesterday I ordered the Vachos and the veggie wrap to take home for dinner! my goodness the best food I have had in a long time! The lady that helped me was super kind and helpful! She shared my enthusiasm with that vegan cheese! The rest of the day I annoyed my husband with how much I love that food! I can't wait to come back!”

“The best little coffee shop hands down! Coffee is locally roasted and the variety of drinks is amazing. Fully customizable drinks that range from coffees to smoothies and the Booster, a great pick me up if someone isn't in the mood for Java. Near the port and other shops so you can grab a drink, maybe a pastry, and enjoy the coast!”

“The poor girl was by herself, but she was super fast and managed to keep an upbeat attitude while under pressure. We got 3 drinks and they all came out perfect! We made sure to tip well, she deserved it!”

“It's the only place in Brookings that's open past 10:00 that I can find. They make a really good hamburger, that had something called pork belly on it. Which I really think is just extra thick bacon. Either way it was really good. The locals are fine and friendly and they do karaoke right up until they close. All in all good place.”

Introduced husband to Yumberry & we now have a “every Tuesday” date. We’re working our way thru the Bowls menu sharing a new flavor combination each visit & in the largest size. “We did not avail ourselves of the atmosphere as we made an online order and picked it up.

On the day we went, Saturday evening they were short on staff and could only offer the bar menu. We had four fried chicken and Belgian waffle w/pub fries. OUTSTANDING!!! The seasonings were delicious. Check out the ingredients on the menu. For desert we had the Bourbon, bacon milkshake. I recommend desert first and have two!!! Responsibly of course.

We will go back in the future to try the full menu. We also appreciated the late night accommodations.”

“Can we all say Steamer clams. YUM!! It's by far the best I have had in a 400 miles radius. I have had them at many places and none compare to the Catalyst. The flavor is on point, that sausage really tops it off. I will always get the steamers. Also the Coastal Lemonade drink is awesome 👌. Their fresh oysters are great too when served on the half shell, not a fan of the ones served in a plastic cup. Just doesnt feel right. Happy to see they are serving their drinks in glasses now, not plastic cups. I highly suggest checking this spot out. They offer out door seating which is great on a sunny day. 🌞 customer service has always been good.”

“Great food for the price. Full plates and freshly cooked food. Our server was polite, friendly, and quick. We had the 3 shredded beef tacos with rice and beans, and a cheeseburger and fries- the food was delicious and very filling. The decor was beautiful and comfortable. The restaurant is spacious and A.D.A. compliant , with lots of room to maneuver.”
