“This is the only place that serves Vision hard cider (that I know of), specifically the Colada Cooler (coconut lime)!! It's my absolute favorite cider I've EVER tried ❤️❤️. They don't serve food (other than small bags of chips & I think free popcorn) but they allow outside food which is a plus!! We drive from Beaverton to Canby just so I can get my cider fix occasionally. Last weekend we went to a Disco event there, it was fun although I'm pretty sure everyone knew each other besides the two of us lol.“

“Mikes Place is Canby’s cheers. The service is top-notch. Somehow they managed to snag the most charismatic, and skilled bartenders around. The drinks are amazing, the conversation is always wonderful. The Atmosphere is on point. And the patrons are always very friendly. The only drawback is that for some reason, the place is always filled with extremely successful, interesting, sexy, eligible bachelors.“

“Wow!! Where do I start off with this hidden gem in the neighborhood. Well great location. Easy parking. As soon as my wife and I entered we were both greeted, but hey it's a tavern and so not expected. We sat ourselves right in the middle of the place and menu was already sitting on the table. Within 2 minutes a server came to the table to ask for drinks. My reason for coming was there sign in front about chicken. So when we ordered we ordered the chicken fried steak with biscuit and gravy. Chicken cooked to a perfection. Breast meat. What caught me with this dish was how well seasoned it is. Atmosphere is a bit different and some colored people it may seem a turn off, but let me tell you. I felt welcomed, waitress came by and checked on us and the memorabilia that flooded this place is more than enough to visit again which my wife and I will come again. The chicken was cooked to perfection, the eggs perfect and also seasoned well. TV playing all the sports I needed to see that day. Not to loud. Great place overall. Would definitely come back.“

“The food was good I got the fish and chips (fries) that you can not go wrong with because the fish is phenomenal, along with the fries normally the fries with fish and chips at other places are okay if not just horrible but the fries are equal to the fish. The atmosphere is amazing it's casual like any bar would be but it's not like you need to yell over music, or other loud people. My impression of the place would be it's kind of unique with their art piece on the wall that moves if you want to be in awe of something you have not seen before. The service is superb I feel. But been there a few times and I have not been let down yet.“

“this place USED to be great, when the owners cared about their staff and customers. they now no longer care. I realized this after being electrocuted due to the owners not wanting to hire electricians and plumbers to do the work needed. the company stopped really truly caring about their staff when they moved to this location. all staff is expected to be on call every day for any shift, while being paid the minimum wage and no wage for staying on call. it also was a realization that they didn't care when I was expected to pump breastmilk for my newborn in an area that was not private and was in view of customers when I did need to pump. no employee is relieved of duty for a break and often times expected to work 10+ hours, and not always knowing I'd relief would show up. yes they used to be a good place, they no longer are. oh and the tacos are not made to health standards....while they are safe we were told to use a slow cooker and not tell health authorities how we cooked the meat.“

“Great place to get away from the loudness of the lower floor. Free arcade games is awesome as you've probably spent a lot on the kids if you've been here with them (downstairs area of course). The drinks have always been great when I have gone along with the food service. Only problem has been that once you get 1 or 2 groups of adults you're out of room for the casual visitor. (Have had 3 office get together here and honestly felt bad as we nearly took up the whole place.)4 stars because I'm still waiting on the go-carts.... or is that a thing anymore? ? ?“

“We were a party of 7 celebrating a 70th birthday. The atmosphere was wonderful, food was good and the service was incredible! I made a reservation for 5 but had 2 add- ons at the last minute and the hostess told it was no problem and quickly put two tables together to seat us. Our servers answered food inquiries, made suggestions when asked and refilled drinks and coffee quickly without ever disturbing our celebration. We had a wonderful time, lingered a while over dessert and were pushed to quickly leave. Highly recommend.“

For I have found myself in a bar so hot, so unrelentingly sweltering, that I am beginning to question whether I walked into a local tavern or accidentally passed through a portal into the armpit of Mount Vesuvius. The air in here is not just warm — it is actively hostile. It’s like being gently slow-roasted in a human crockpot set to “boil souls.” I ordered a cold beer, and by the time it reached my lips, it had turned into a hot toddy. The bartender handed me a napkin and it spontaneously burst into steam. My shirt is now a second skin made entirely of regret and perspiration. The walls are sweating. The chairs are sweating. I’m fairly certain I just saw a lizard try to file a zoning complaint. There is no breeze. No relief. Only heat, humidity, and the sound of people pretending this is fine as they quietly melt like cheese under a broiler. This place doesn’t need a fan — it needs a priest, an exorcism, and a commercial-grade air conditioner blessed by three different denominations. In conclusion, unless someone installs an AC unit soon, I fear I shall fully liquefy and be mopped into a bucket labeled "formerly human, now soup." All in all though, love it here.“

“Great place to play pool and have a few drinks. Pool tables were high end and fairly new. New felt and plenty of chalk for the stick and hands. Servers were nice with a good ol fashion drink selection yet they scraped the heel of fairly modern. Good atmosphere. I would return for the tables anytime“
