“The seating area was set up nicely. (Two nice wooden picnic tables under a decent tent with open entrances and a roll-up window. The area was clean and shaded, with cute flowers on the tables.) The woman who took my order was polite and friendly - and thanks for having her long hair pulled back nice and tidy. Parking was available. Menu options were fine. There was no line, although there were people waiting and more who came after us (indicating they do have a regular customers). The time to wait for food was fine, probably 10 minutes.

I ordered their white board special - a burrito bowl, in a crispy shell, ($11), plus a quesadilla for my grandson ($10).

I took off a star because…. The beans were super thin, more like soup. They had decent flavor but too much water and/or oil. (I know thinner is more authentic, but this was beyond that.) The red rice was super bland and IMO would have been better if it were just plain white rice. My bowl tasted fine, but was mostly filled with the thin beans and rice, (makes it pretty soupy), a small amount of little chicken pieces, plus some greens and tomatoes with a sprinkle of cotija on top. I did appreciate the sliced radishes and lime on the side, they added a fresh touch. For my grandson, I told her I was with a picky child and asked for a plain quesadilla and a side of beans, but what I was sold was an adult quesadilla plate for $10. He didn’t like their beans, and he never eats rice or salad, so we basically paid $10 for a tortilla with cheese.

I’m still leaving 4 stars because there was nothing really wrong with the food (it wasn’t burnt or raw, it didn’t taste bad), and the set up and service were nice - but how they prepared the food was not to our liking.“

“Many birria options-tacos, burritos, tortas, nachos, etc. Tastes like they have an abuela in the truck. Very reasonably priced for the portion size and quality ingredients. Consomme has so much flavor you'll want to pour it on everything. The meat is tender and delicious. The tacos are well seasoned and have the perfect amount of crunch. The torta is big enough for a truck driver with a good appetite. Unlike many tortas the bread didn't get soggy and had a slight crunch. Highly recommend.“

“I tend to order my lunch from this place as it's close to where I work. I've ordered chicken nachos and chicken taco salad several times. My food has always been fresh and great quality. I'm never left hungry. Here's a tip- if you go there for lunch Mon-Fri, go between 11:30-11:45 or after 12:30. Lots of high-school kids go there and crowd the place from 11:55 to about 12:30.“

“My family visited here while we were in town. It was quiet, cozy, and with a modern feel. We loved how spicy the salsa was and that it was paired with refried beans. I was impressed with the chorizo burrito. Our servers took good care of us.“
