“I love this place - There was a guy I hadn't seen before working tonight and he stopped midway through making my lamb curry to check and give me a spice/salt level test. The guy who I usually see did the same thing before I started regularly visiting and he got to know my levels - These guys care about making their customers into regulars and you can tell that they're proud of what they do. As expected with this level of personalized service and care, the food is out out of this world and is my go-to for a cold rainy day - Luckily we have lots of them! Get the lamb curry - The lamb chunks are spoon tender, the curry is spiced perfectly and the rice is fluffy and aromatic!“

Not sure what was in it because I didn't ask; it was sweet but not too sweet and had some other seasoning/flavor (light hazelnut or cinnamon). Latte was great. Deluxe bagel was very good and so was the plain bagel with cream cheese. Great price, great workers, we will def be back! Thank you.“

“Delicious handmade noodles from a food truck? Yes, please! The flavors are fantastic and the noodles are soooo good. Just make sure you ask about spiciness if that is an issue for you because when they make something spicy, they mean it! I absolutely recommend the chao mian in mild and the pork dumplings.“

Fresh, perfectly cooked ingredients, the most delicious sauces made fresh to order, and big portions for the price. “Usually I don't leave reviews unless I am blown away. This is one of those cases. I ordered the Lamb Gyro with Baklava for dessert. The meat on the lamb melts in your mouth, the sauces are so flavorable, the bread was warm and soft, the gyro was packed with meat.

The baklava was delicious, sweet but enough to the point to where its not overly sweet, a perfect level of sweetness that is hard to be replicated.

I live in Vancouver and UberEats this all the way from Portland. It is the best middle eastern food I have ever had, tonight it has taken the #1 throne. Writing this review right after I ate it.“

“it is in the heart of downtown a couple blocks from Powell Books in the beginning of the park block the most important it is clean and it's a good diversity of food cart they even have a double decker bus that serve coffee in the morning and beer and wine in the evening plenty of seating outside looking at the park block.“

“What a fantastic little gem of an Asian food truck in downtown! My husband and I ordered the teriyaki chicken and chicken yakisoba. I was floored by the amount of food you get for $10! My mom and I have gone multiple times (sometimes in the same week! ) and had a chance to talk to the owners and a couple of the baristas, all of which were very friendly and love to offer suggestions of flavor combos (that is, if you can't pick from the fun flavors they come up with every month). I also love that they offer a dark and light roast coffee and you can still actually taste the coffee, not just the sweetness from the syrup in the fancy drinks. They have a good balance.“

“This is one of my favorite gyro carts in PDX. We always get the lamb gyro. The pita is always soft, veggies are crisp and fresh, they give you LOTS of tasty lamb and yummy tzatziki. They are always consistent in quality and the price is fair for the quality and amount they serve. Service is friendly and quick.“

“I went out at 2:20 in the morning to get something to eat. I did not expect to eat one of the best meals I’ve had in a while at that price range. The store owner was very nice and gave me a few recommendations for what to eat and he made an excellent choice because the food was amazing. The environment around the outside of the store was a little rough but that was not the store owners fault and shouldn’t take away from the quality of the food. Overall a great place to eat, would recommend for a night munch.“

I highly recommend visiting the Midtown Beer Garden whenever you are in downtown Portland and or are looking for new places to eat.
There are plenty of other food charts to choose from besides this one so everyone can enjoy eating their favorite cuisine.
Negative is prices are on the higher end but the burrito was very large- more like an extra large size.
All in all we had a very positive experience the day we went, and I hope you too!“
