For how fresh and delicious most of their menu items are, I was surprised at the burger quality - I’m almost certain it was a frozen patty, which seems so unlike this spot. I could be wrong, it just didn’t taste like what the price point makes it seem you’re getting. That said, everything else I’ve eaten here is fantastic.“

“We tasted a couple of flights and a glass of Pét Nat each, it was a really lovely experience. Fairly priced. Calm and cool atmosphere with some nice music. Each table has an assortment of obscure Trivial Pursuit cards which was such a fun, silly addition to the experience. We also ordered the truffle almonds to break up the wine a bit and they were very tasty.
The person who prepared our flights was very knowledgeable and friendly. This was a Sunday afternoon, I wish I could remember their name because he really did top off the experience.“

“Have only been blessed with food from here twice, recently with some tomato soup and bread someone dropped off at camp which was really good and about 5 or 6 years ago one of the ladies there hooked me up with an elk burger that was incredible. Makes me happy that I spend time cleaning up the area after all the folks that toss the fast food trash out the door before driving home

Parking: Can be a little tricky as the parking for most businesses in the area is side street parallel. There's a large lot next door for McDonald's but they've been known to tow people, part of the lot is out in front of over and out but I'm not sure if that's McDonald's as well. There is a lot at 81st and Washington at Milwaukee lumber where it's ok to park after 5pm up to around 630am and one across 81st at atc autobody but watch for broken glass in that one esp near Dumpsters“

We came upon The Annex and were a little leery at first glance but once you walk in the atmosphere completely changes and it's so inviting! We stayed for several hours and our bartender Corin took great care of us! She was a blast!“

“I can not say enough nice things about Blank Slate. My husband and I have been regulars here ever since we moved to the neighborhood almost six years ago.

They have a great selection of cocktail options, and while we do often revert to our favorite Just Before Dawn , we always like experimenting with their new or seasonal cocktails. The atmosphere is fabulous, with beautiful wallpaper and lush plants hanging from the windows, and it's always fun to sit outside on the patio in the winter with the heaters. Not to mention how wonderful the staff is. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone.“

“This place is one of those rare neighborhood bars where anyone can feel welcome. The atmosphere was very relaxed on a Friday night. I think the majority of patrons were regulars. Everyone was friendly. The bartender, I think he was the owner, took care of everyone and was smiling and joking the whole time. We got the prime rib and the Apple Burger and both were top notch. I have driven by this place hundreds of times over the years and I'm kicking myself for not coming in sooner. 10/10 highly recommend.“

“They have two nice Diamond pool tables, all on free play. The players are all skilled, and the food is delicious and affordable. The bartender takes great care of the customers. We spent many hours there before our flight. It’s also very close to the airport“

No drama! I do wish they had a better food selection, because I was hungry, but didn’t eat here so they kinda lost money but not having better food.
