“Not that I have tried a lot of barbecue in the Portland area YET, this location serves up some pretty good smoked meats. Been there a couple of times. Service is average and friendly. First times there we had four adults and three of us shared the Meat Sweats platter which was plenty of food for two couples. There are not enough ribs for a larger group though. Loved the dry rub chicken wings and the pulled pork. My son enjoyed the smoked tri-tip. Went back on my own as I was craving the Mac and cheese I had the first time there. Some of the best I have ever had. Had a pulled pork sandwich as well.“

“This was our first time here and it didn't disappoint us. My wife had the halibut sandwich and clam chowder and she said it was delicious. I had the French dip and it also was delicious. The service was fabulous. We live in AZ but when we come back to Portland we will definitely be back. The entire menu looks wonderful.“
“My wife and I have passed by Ye Olde Pub for years and have always wanted to stop by and try it out. Tonight was finally that time! We were immediately greeted by a bright-smiled "Mo" (Morgan, per our receipt).As we had never been, Mo was excited to share her suggestions from the menu; boy, was she right about it all! Everything we had was delicious, from the chowder to the bread pudding. “Typical small-town restaurant - food was amazing - I had the chicken gorgonzola and hubby had chicken & tortellini in a garlic wine sauce - starter salad was just the right size - were seated immediately and water , bread, and chopped tomatoes in balsamic vinagrette appeared in front of us within minutes. “I was pleasantly surprised to see a different bartender in this cute little neighborhood bar. Last time I came in ..the bartender completely ignored me standing at the bar patiently waiting to order. She was snooty and seemed to cater to just her regular customers.My son & I stopped in to have a drink & gamble a little the other day. Leilani, the bartender, was sooo nice , friendly, and even made me fresh coffee for my coffee drink & brought it to me while I was gambling. I will definitely recommend this place and the day time bartender and will stop in frequently.“
