“We like to go here for the seafood night on Thursday. The crab dip is great and there is plenty to share. The food portions are big and I always take home food. Fried oysters and lobster tail are our go to right now. It's a small bar with lots of video poker and some dining tables. Staff has always been attentive and willing to take drink requests.“

“Fuego Underground is indeed "Fire!" I've been to dozens of Speakeasy establishments in New York, Las Vegas, and even in Central America. Fuego Underground has easily become a top 5 favorite experience for me!It isn't secreted behind an unmarked door or hidden behind a business front, but it has an authentic feel of a Speakeasy from the 20s and 30s. The servers are dressed as flappers, and the interior of the Underground beneath De Fuego bar attached to the Monarch hotel in Clackamas is opulent yet tasteful and reminiscent of the era. There is live piano music at opening, and smooth jazz trios and featured artists later in the evening. The service is on point. Everyone embraces the spirit of the experience being created within the Fuego Underground. The cocktails are heavily weighted toward the whiskey and bourbon drinking crowd, yet all drinks are given the prohibition era spin in presentation. The entrees are predominantly various cuts of beef with some exceptions, and they are of equal quality to any high-end steak house in Portland. The sides are varied and better than most compared to, say, El Goucho or Ringside. I had a Gâteau au Chocolat for desert that was delicious! (even though I had to take it home and eat it 2 hours later for being so full!)Overall, it was an amazing experience! If you love a good Speakeasy, you HAVE to try Fuego Underground. If you just like great steaks and craft cocktails, this is a hidden gem with easy parking, but reservations are recommended. This place is popular and for very good reason.“

“Terrific experience! My boyfriend has been here twice and couldn't wait to bring me. We live in the neighborhood and couldn't believe we hadn't found this place sooner. We were impressed by the presentation of our drinks, appetizers, and entrees. We also enjoyed the best crab ragoons we've ever had (ordered 2 more to-go). Everything about the restaurant was clearly well thought-out. From the dining area to the bar to the bathroom, it is well-designed and extremely clean. To top it off, the owner of restaurant was super friendly and took time to chat with us. We are already making plans to bring our friends next week. Love this place!“

“The tacos are really tasty (though I have only had the al pastor and chicken), I imagine the others are good as well. The Keto tacos are unique being a fired cheese shell, and are really good. The guacumole is chucky and plentiful both on the side or with their tasty nachos. The Mexican fried rice is a combination Spanish rice and Asian fried rice, very different and good. The burrito takes 2 hands to hold, it is big, also flavorful. I highly recommend eating here, I do at least once a week. The owners are also really nice people!“

“The cocktails and food are definitely worth the journey, but it’s the atmosphere and attention to detail that make Bellwether shine. Has the feel of a French-inspired saloon at the turn of the last century,or something straight out of Paris itself.“

“10/10 classiest bar in Foster. Come for the slushies, stay for the adult lunchablesDietary restrictions: I’m unfortunately lactose intolerant, but they have plenty of delicious options where I actually forget for a moment that I miss the taste of cheese“

“Great little neighborhood bar with vintage vibe. Rochelle was a great bartender! I gave only 4 stars instead of 5 because the music was awful for the 2.5 hours I was there. We would have stayed longer but listening to loud punk rock in a cool vintage bar didn't match and seemed most customers were also annoyed with music. That is a huge part of the experience.“

“Great setup with the various food vendors that are part of the building. Lots of different styles of beer and the server was friendly. The Timbers were on TV and this seems like a fun place to watch a game but we couldn’t stick around. Would like to come back in the summer and enjoy the covered patio.“

“I’m elated that this bar is under new ownership, I spent NYE here and it was a blast! I went back for my birthday. Entertainment is excellent-drag and burlesque shows, bands and comedy too. I’ve had a wonderful time every time! OH and the bar tenders are really incredibly nice and accommodating. Can’t recommend enough!!“

“Really chill little tiny bar and they have a really great actual bar that's made from a salvaged old redwood tree. The owner/bartender was a really nice, very accommodating guy.Kid-friendliness: Its a bar.... So of course there's a huge area just for kids, LOL. Seriously though to spell it out for those people who don't know I'm joking here, children are not allowed, it's a bar. And if they were allowed, like say during the day, you might want to ask yourself, "would good parents bring their children to a bar?"“

“Went on a night when Murder Casserole Live was there and it was so much fun. Took my mother and my husband. We were the only new faces in the crowd but it was a lot of fun. Probably going to show up next month for the next Murder Casserole Live night.“
“Jeff, the patron, has filled the establishment with his own eclectic mix of offerings. The choices of beer and wine demonstrate that the selection has been planned for diversity and enjoyment. The atmosphere is great and feels like the neighborhood bar that we want to walk to.“

“Crows Nest Deli & Lounge is a great place to go at the end of a long day or for any day really. The atmosphere is great with a great jukebox, a large flat screen TV (cable), full lottery (including 3 Video Poker machines), full bar and a great and friendly owner. They also have live music on the last Friday of every month, which really packs the lounge, with outside covered seating and a pool table to boot. The food and service are both exceptional. I highly recommend visiting the Crows Nest Deli & Lounge.“

“This is one of our go to neighborhood friendly bars for food and drinks. Nothing fancy, no frills bar but really good food and drinks at really good prices. The Park City Phillies on the fresh baked bread are delicious along with the Burgers, Tater Tots, and the Park City Salad with Grilled Chicken for our watching what we eat option. Had the meatloaf special and it too was delicious.“

“Home away from home!OmG I had fun!I remember STARTING to drink, playing the WORST game of pool I ever played, only to win cause dude scratched on the 8-ball (I'll take it),some of THE best gizzards I've had in my life (I've had a lot), and getting LOST on the way back to my truck, which was.... 15 feet from the exit? I HAD to stop and get munchies and drinks... and I got totally lost... Thanks to Portland for not taking advantage, which they absolutely could have, and I wouldn't have held it against them in the slightest ?If I stumbled through your backyard, only to gripe about how your fence was in my way, I apologize.... but... I'm not sorry ?“
“This is a local bar with regulars and more. It has a great patio in back. The best bartender is Jimmy. As a regular I expect to see Jimmy every Wednesday. He has had his Wednesday taken away. We need to see Jimmy on Wednesdays. Hope he gets his days back soon. Go visit. Good place. Say hi to Jimmy.“

“Exceptional service and quality cocktails and mocktails! Entertaining enough to watch the craft cocktails being made at the bar and they also had some quality records playing in addition to a muted series of older videos that made for entertaining conversations. Food was phenomenal with snacking/small portion plates. High quality oysters, deviled eggs to die for, and the best molasses cookie you will ever put in your mouth. Go here, go out of your way to go here.“

“DELICIOUSCame for my brother in law's birthday after I suggested it. We were only looking for a little cocktail bar to sit and chat at but were treated to amazing service, food, and drinksI was sat in a cozy booth in the back room with a Capricorn, which I highly suggest to anyone with a sweet tooth! The cocktail menu was creative and expansive, I plan to try the Cumin Centipede next time.My sister ordered a Ruby Red Manhattan, and my BIL something orange based, I don't recall. The drinks were complex and easy to sip, and very enjoyable, served quickly even on a busy Friday night. For food we ended up ordering the best pasta I had had in a very long time. Their Chicken meatball linguini was so flavourful and the perfect texture all the way through. I'm always fussy with cream tomato sauces but this one was downright delightful. Creamy, a little bit spicy, and just so so good.My sister ordered the field green salad, which had the best balsamic vinaigrette, the fried shallots were tasty too.BIL ordered the trout, which was also out of this world. It was a sizable portion and came on risotto, the brocolini was a little overbearing in size, but if that's the only thing to complain about then I will come again!!All in all, price wasn't awful, portions were solid, and everything was very tasty.“
“This is my first time and buddu:s Happy Hour 3-6:00PM bar and lounge on April 8th 2023. I have experience d the best customer service that I can ever imagine. Buddy's has some great ciders and they also have a great chicken nachos. I want to give a high shot out and a 5-star rating to AJ my server and I just want to just put that out there. So if you ever want to come out for a good time, buddy's on 82nd is the place. peace out. Chazz“

“The poor bartender was the only person on service. That meant from my arrival to 5:30ish, I had to walk up to the bar and request a drink, water, napkin, food....But, even after my friends started showing up and the number of staff increased,(6p.m.) no one came to our table to take our order. But, no one really took any orders unless you went to the bar. Food was delivered, but it felt like we were a bother when we waited to order. The food was ok. The Mac and cheese tasted like it was heated up and then blasted with a torch to crisp up the top.“

“Honestly I don't have much to say about the food other than there seemed to be plenty of variety and options. I would like to review Brittany (Big Mama!) who hosted the axe throwing for our daughter's birthday party. She was very friendly and seemed to make a point of coaching the kids in a way that would make them succeed but also have a great time. She also went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable, had everything we needed, and was very approachable. An extra table was brought over just for us because our party was fairly large. Can't say enough great things about Brittany, she absolutely went above and beyond to make sure the party went smoothly. Another little shout out to the bartenders. We had multiple drink spills (toddlers) and they rushed over to help us each time and didn't make us feel bad about making messes (even though we did anyway). Thank you for the great time!Parking: The parking lot is pretty terrible.“

“I live in walking distance of this place and have to say it is quite the gem. The vibes are always relaxed and comfortable, bar tenders are friendly and laid back, the cheeseburgers are delicious and very reasonably priced, and the drinks are good! On top of that, their new pinball selection (7 machines!) makes this place too good to be true, with two of my all time favorite machines. Happy its in the neighborhood. Don't be fooled by its unassuming facade, Old Gilbert is a perfect neighborhood bar and a Mt. Scott institution.“

“My wife and I have passed by Ye Olde Pub for years and have always wanted to stop by and try it out. Tonight was finally that time! We were immediately greeted by a bright-smiled "Mo" (Morgan, per our receipt). As we had never been, Mo was excited to share her suggestions from the menu; boy, was she right about it all! Everything we had was delicious, from the chowder to the bread pudding. Her passion for the menu and the pub was a totally refreshing vibe; which also says a lot about the ownership. We can't wait to come back and share this gem with our friends and family. “Really enjoyed the live music, specifically Zach Jenks and his band Desember, who played the night I was there. Didn't even know this place existed prior to hearing about the show. Pleasant experience, nice people, staff was friendly, prices were fair, and really bested my expectations for a country dive bar. Would totally go back again to see another band or if I was at Hagg Lake for the day and needed a libation.“

“At this point I'll call myself a regular, my husband and I love this place and it's the only place in the neighborhood that dose the chicken fried steak, and their garlic toast, yummm! “Celebrated a good friend’s birthday on a Friday night and it was awesome! Service was working hard to get food and beverages out to guests. That small kitchen was turning out an impressive amount of food. The special, a fried fish sandwich, was piping hot and delicious! The waffle fries and cheese curds also dunked on the night. To wash it all down, I enjoyed a cocktail called The Great Northern, a throwback to Twin Peaks and The Great Northern Hotel where Special Agent Dale Cooper staged his journey into Twin Peaks. You should go here!“

“Favorite bar in Portland. The food is always great, friendly people, and it's nice and cozy inside. The smash burger is pretty decadent in my opinion; really good if you want something that will fill you up and then some. “Came for pizza week, and am excited to mix this into my regular rotation! While the pizza, cocktail, canolli were all wonderful, we did have a few hiccups with being seated (server said I needed the other person in my party of 2 to be seated, and though he arrived 5min later, we had to wait an additional 20 to be seated) and receiving our food (we ordered 4 slices and a salad -- the slices arrived relatively fast, but our salad was delivered to the wrong table and instead of placing a new order for us, we had to just ask for this to be removed from our tab). That said, I'm willing to chalk these two misses up the madness that is pizza week rush, so I'm excited to try this spot out here in earnest another time.“
“Another review mentioned this bar supported domestic violence, so I had to visit. Jimmy's is AWESOME!!! Everyone was just beating their spouses, it was such a pleasant time. “I really love this bar, locally ownedMy bar tender was Ella. She made my husband the best long island ice tea , since we been together here in Portland Oregon anyways , we been together going on 13years this coming up September 1st .I had the best lemon drop on the ne side of Portland. Also I ordered breakfast biggest portions of food especially for a bar.I ordered chicken fried steak with gravy and a biscuits and gravy came with it as well as homemade breakfast potatoes and 2 over easy eggs and a order of jalapeno poppers and those were the hugest jalapeno poppers I ever seen in Portland and were delicious. Stop in here if you're looking for a friendly non judgemental non racial bar. You won't regret it. Believe me“

“The food is well above what you would expect for a bar. We go there often for a drink, but rarely get a meal because we are pescatarian (love the appetizers though!). Today, we were thrilled because we asked the chef gal if she would make us a fish sandwich and she went out of her way to make us happy, even coming out several times to clarify what we wanted. It was an amazing sandwich and we hope they’ll add it to the menu! Also, our friend asked for fry sauce and the chef went back and whipped some up for her. Her and the bartender were much more accommodating than you’d expect for a bar (or even for many restaurants). I can’t recommend this place enough, and I whole heartedly think the staff amplify the experience.“

“My family had such a great time here listening to a 90's band on July 15th. It's a nice space, with adequate seating both in the shade and out in the sun. The Watermelon Crawl hard citrus drink was OUT OF THIS WORLD! Amazingly delicious drink. Three food trucks nearby, a coffee stand, great tunes being played, and great drinks... what more could you ask for?!“
