“Finally was able to try Bellwether Bar at the weekend and adored it. Lovely atmosphere, excellent food, cozy setting. It can be pretty packed so would recommend having a spot nearby to chill at if you have to wait for tables to open up.
Note that it's an order-at-the-bar-only kinda place with a queue that can get pretty long. Generally not a fan of places that have a single order-taking point, especially if you're only drinking a few rounds. Bellwether is well worth the friction of that process but would do well to come up with an alternative that would work for them and their size/capabilities. If you're with friends or on a date, you can be in line for 10-20 minutes, which isn't great.“

“One of the few places open during my Tuesday Date Nights. An amazing casual default when my girlfriend and I want to go out on a random whim. The drinks are delicious and reasonably priced given the quality. The staff is welcoming and the atmosphere is the right blend of cozy and lively. Perfect place to go on a cold night to grab a comforting drink and have engaging conversations with your company of choice“

“This place is fabulous. THEY HAVE TABLE SERVICE! Every staffer I interacted with was charming and lovely. I got up to pay my check at the bar and they said, oh I'll bring it right over to you! The drinks were perfect and delicious. Their seasonal spritz was a revelation. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“

“Have only been blessed with food from here twice, recently with some tomato soup and bread someone dropped off at camp which was really good and about 5 or 6 years ago one of the ladies there hooked me up with an elk burger that was incredible. Makes me happy that I spend time cleaning up the area after all the folks that toss the fast food trash out the door before driving home
Parking: Can be a little tricky as the parking for most businesses in the area is side street parallel. There's a large lot next door for McDonald's but they've been known to tow people, part of the lot is out in front of over and out but I'm not sure if that's McDonald's as well. There is a lot at 81st and Washington at Milwaukee lumber where it's ok to park after 5pm up to around 630am and one across 81st at atc autobody but watch for broken glass in that one esp near Dumpsters“

“My sister and I went to The Annex for the first time this weekend and OMG… instantly one of our new favorite bars 🍸✨
Robbie was so welcoming and seriously has the best personality, he made us feel right at home. The whole place was super clean, felt safe, and had such a fun, good vibe.
And the drinks?? SO good. Best espresso martini I’ve ever had, hands down. My sister said her Bloody Mary was a 10/10 👏

“I am new to this part of Portland but quickly felt right at home with the staff and a diverse crowd of locals I see there often. Very comfortable place to chill & have a drink.“

“Just visiting. Was hungry and wanted to throw darts. I walked in and Jim greeted me right away. Called me by my name all night. Brought me tape and a measuring device to mark a new line. Taco Tuesday was in full swing and he talked me into a few. Great tacos!! Had two drinks, threw 5 games, and ate 6 tacos for $25. I'll be back!“

“They have two nice Diamond pool tables, all on free play. The players are all skilled, and the food is delicious and affordable. The bartender takes great care of the customers. We spent many hours there before our flight. It’s also very close to the airport“

“Good place to go for playing pool. Alot of good players there late at night. 2 pool tables in nice condition. Expect a wait after midnight to play, sign your name on the board. Great group of people.Prices moderate. Not a very big place, so expect to bump elbows.“

We got a sneak peak at the mimosa buckets being offered and couldn’t be more pleased.
This place has a very relaxed and calm atmosphere with great options for video poker.
And with our dogs they were more than happy sitting in the patio area with a bowl of water provided.
